This is a hidden parking lot with limited signs for parking. When exploring Amber, please note that the conservation center might be closed, however the trails are open. The parking lot is not paved making it hard to even find the parking lot. Also I wish there were more signs as to where to park. Please note that the trails are unpaved making it hard for a rainy day. When the soil is dry it might be better. Leads to the Wissahickon Trail if you find it. Please note that the parking is free and the trails are fairly muddy. Tons of bridges.
First time here and I must say it's been a good experience. There are trails, bridges and stepping stones that are very well maintained. Also, we saw some wooden benches scattered throughout the area. It was nice finding young trees carefully wrapped in nets so they grow protected from the always grazing deers. The creek is very accessible, some folks were having a good time fishing. In a few words, I would say it's a recommended hiking spot. Not for toddlers or strollers, as there are the bridges and stepping stones, many tree roots to step on the way.
Hallelujah an actual dirt hiking trail.. no paved walkway or mowed meadow paths here.. just some easy mostly flat trails through the woods. There is definitely a good bit of poison ivy around though so be mindful and wash up when you get home..
We just discovered Four Mills Nature Reserve about a month ago and have been at least 6 times since then. It is a nice, easy and relaxing mile loop. Can’t wait to see what it is like as spring progresses!
Nice trail, lots of quoet walking and clearly marked spaces Only problem? There's a spot where you have to cross the creek on a series of stones. The middle stone had gone under when I went there. Made it more treacherous than it should have been.
Well kept trails. A nice local place to go hiking if I don't have time to drive anywhere. There is some road noise, but the nature sounds nearly drown it out.
Excellent place for walking and for accessing birding areas. Owned by the Wissahickon Trails organization, who take care of our watershed. Frequently muddy. Some high speed road crossings, if you go beyond the Four Mills area itself. There's also one creek crossing on the east side of the property that requires climbing about 5 steps down a ladder like you would use to get into a pool.
We love four mills! It's beautiful and serene with well kept trails. The bridges are the only difficult part of the hike if you have kids. Easy creek access for splashing around. Easy parking and barely anyone there when we go. We have lunch in the rain garden before we leave.

Michelle was great. She walked us through every step of the process. She was very responsive to any and all questions we had. I love that she had spaces already allotted for the DJ and for the bartender. We were able to utilize the space however we s
Overall: high-quality fresh pasta, bread, and deserts! Service: Friendly. For dine-in, grab an available table first and then order at the front. Food: definitely the best pasta place in Ambler. Their pasta always tastes great, made fresh everyday.

Stopped by during one of Amblerâs festivals. Quick and friendly service. Both the mango ice and vanilla custard were tasty and hit the spot during a hot spring day. There are a few chairs and tables to the side if you prefer to sit and eat.
A very impressive and very clean Co-op! Bountiful produce, breads, pastries, deli, meats, bulk foods, essential oils, organic, pet foods and much more. Store is organized efficiently and items are easy to find. Many items are sourced locally. I boug

Found this little gem while in the area for work. One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Crust is nice and crispy (personal preference, hard and crunchy beats soft and chewy), and the flavor combinations are amazing!! I don't know what BBQ
