Very well kept and VERY CLEAN! Quiet yet right off the main road. The owner brought extra towels to all the bikers rooms for the AM wipe down. Thats great attention to your customers. Ill definitely stay again. Support a great small business 🇺🇸

We stayed at the motel during a river trip from Saint Paul to La Crosse. The owners were extremely helpful to our group during our stay. I cannot say enough about their hospitality and generosity. They offered to drive us to a local restaurant and pick us up if we could not find a ride. They also helped arrange for a place to park the boat overnight. Also, the room was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again!

This was our 4th stay at this motel. It is the cleanest place you will find in the area, and the owners are really nice people. Price is reasonable and the area is beautiful, plus the motel is motorcycle friendly. We came up with 4 other couples two years ago and everyone enjoyed their stay. The themed rooms are fun too!

This is a gem of a motel, located near two State Parks, Perot and Merrick. Our room was spotless, decor lovely and owners friendly and very accommodating.|Downtown contains several great places to eat, The Lily Pad and the Golden Frog as well as the Irish pub, Monarch Public House, are just a few.|If you are familiar with river towns, you know that you will probably deal with the sound of trains, we did not find it much of a problem. Overall, a great place to stay!

This place is always very clean. The rooms are very well appointed and have amenities beyond what you would expect at this price point. Chris is a gracious and phenomenal host. The motel is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it.

The room was nice and clean. The motel folks were very nice and knowledgeable with local stuff to do. We will definitely be go through them again for our next vacation.

Absolutely perfect; we are purposely pre-planning our next road trip to return! This set-up for our motorcycle weekend getaway couldn't be better. Safely parked our bike directly within 10' of our room door, with cameras also on the parking area. A kickstand plate was provided along with a clean soft towel outside our room every morning to dry our bike off! The location was perfect for meandering the Great River Road but also only a few miles to the bridge to Winona, MN, which made it a great day trip loop north and across to Hastings, MN and back. Can't say enough about the motel, we stayed in the Angler's Retreat room and it was pristine. New carpet, super comfy king size bed, high thread count sheets; new bathroom flooring, vanity. Personal finishing touches included large absorbent towels, boutique shampoo/conditioner, locally sourced natural soap, and, even eye makeup remover for the ladies! We were so surprised and pleased to find our room was tidied up with fresh towels, toiletries, coffee supplies when we returned, it made it so nice to have after a long day on the bike! Can't say enough about the wonderful woman who owns and operates this gem of a place! Christine was so accommodating and sincere from the time I called to book last-minute, through check-out. Her attention to detail makes this a hidden treasure. Can't wait to get back!

This place was fabulous. We stayed in the fishing themed room. My husband thought it was the best and it was SO CLEAN! ||The linens and towels were great, too. We found the beds very comfortable. ||Chris was helpful and attentive when I was booking our reservation and we would seek to go out of our way to stay here again if we find ourselves in that part of the country.||If you’re anywhere near, try this place!
