Fountain Motel - Motel in Wildwood - 4616 Atlantic Ave, USA

Ça fais 20 ans que nous allons à Wildwood et c’est de loin la pire place que nous avons faite. Les enfants ne peuvent pas s’amuser dans la piscine et dès que les enfants marches un peu vite le personnel du motel nous avertissent et ce en plein après-midi. Les chambres sont minuscules et pas très propre. Je ne suggère aucunement cette place pour un voyage en famille.

I stayed in room#16. The shower didn't work. It was like a mist. Ants in the room as well and the room is very outdated. They also charge for ice well, more like water ice. I went across the street to buy ice instead. The biggest issue is the noise from neighbors keeping me up both nights till 1:30am and the funny thing is that quiet hours are strictly enforced as you need to sign forms which apparently aren't. Find a better place to stay. The only thing good about this place is the location.

There was everything to love and nothing to dislike about this stay we had booked five rooms on this property. Three of the rooms had a pool view. Two of the rooms were behind , this motel is set up like a little village. You'd have to see it to understand, but you'd love it when you'll stay.. Every room is clean. The owner operators are very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. I've been going to Wildwood for 45 years. This has to be one of the most pleasant motel stays I've ever had. It's right near the Wildwood convention center, but it is a good distance to the beach when you get to the sand. But there's lots of things around within walking distance. And if you don't want to walk the whole length of the boardwalk, you always have the tram car.

Here is my honest review and to why I am giving this place a 5/5. I came here with 3 of my other friends for a birthday celebration and a mini vacation. We all shared a room. We weren’t looking for a fancy place to stay (since most of our time were outdoors) but this place had everything we wanted and needed. A kitchen, a bathroom, bedroom, and a small section to dine, a pool, etc. From my experience, a lot of motels like motel 6 don’t have a kitchen, but this place does. And sure the furniture and the floor might be a little outdated..but we’re talking about a family-friendly motel here… this isn’t Hilton guys 😭. And for the price that you’re paying, this place isn’t even bad at all. When we arrived, we could tell the sheets were clean (you can tell by the fresh laundry scent) but the best part about this motel is that they use Mattress Protection Covers. I don't think I’ve seen anyone write a review mentioning that, but it puts me at ease to know that they care enough to protect their clients and their mattress from bed bugs, etc. But because I didn’t know if they had mattress protection or not, I brought my own sheets and a blanket. I had no problem with parking (I parked in the back which is closer to my room), but a block down in Taylor Ave, my friend was lucky enough to find parking there (free parking). I also had no problem with the water pressure in our bathroom. It wasn’t tinkling or sprinkling, It was working fine for us and it remained hot (remember, there’s four of us). For it's location, it's amazing. I am so happy that it was super close to the beach and we didn't have to walk a long way to get there. It's also pretty cool that it’s near Wildwood Convention Center too. Service This is my favorite part. After vacation, my friend dropped my bag while checking out which prompted my airpod to get left behind but I didn't realize it was missing until the next day. Im not going to lie, I was extremely upset about this and I didn’t think it would still be there (like I thought it would be stolen by now) but when I contacted the owner at this property (lovely lady by the way), she told me she would look into it, and when she did, it was there! She dropped it at the UPS for me and I got my airpod the next day. Far and Beyond, thank you so much ! The only thing I would suggest is that you might want to bring ear plugs because I did hear the upstairs tenants stomping around at night but my friend was also snoring like a bear and I didn’t know she snored so bring em just in case! 😂

We love this place , close to the boardwalk,beach and everything else. It has a pool and very friendly staff. The owner is always very accommodating and spot on if anything is wrong. We return to this place every year and it is family owned.

Rooms were a bit small and dated. Grounds of the motel are beautiful, pool was great although a little cold. Real close to boardwalk, 2 blocks.

Very clean. Comfortable mattress that is enclosed inside a cloth zippered mattress cover. Tiled flooring. Microwave and minirefrigerator in room. No coffee maker. No USB plugs. Owners live onsite. There is an outdoor pool. Love the lavender colored room doors. Will stay there again.

Rooms are stuck in the 70s. Has carpeting was dirty . Beds had stiff mattress that were not comfortable. Could hear the next door people arguing throughout the night. The worst part of the stay was the shower. The water stream was so low that it waS one of the worst showers I have ever taken. Would not come back here, even for free.
