Fountain Creek Inn - Motel in Manitou Springs - 1224 Manitou Ave, USA

The rooms are quite small, but are clean and cozy. The bed is comfortable. We were on a lower unit and the noise from the upper unit was loud. Ear plugs were provided next to the bed so perhaps noise levels are a frequent complaint? There is no host on site. You are emailed your room assignment and a door lock code prior to check-in. The location is convenient and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Overall a good value for the price. I would consider staying again for a short stay.

Couldn't tell you about the rooms but we met the owner when they were selling their overflow parking for a nearby event. Friendly and accommodating. Made sure we would be able to park and get back out instead of overselling and stuffing more cars in. Cute motel. Would consider staying there in the future.

Great stay. Quiet, yet close to all the doings in Manitou Springs. The rooms are smaller, as to be expected from a building from this era. The rooms are super clean and bed was very comfortable. Parking and access was great. One caveat. If you struggle walking or have heavy bags try to secure a first floor. The Fountain Creek is a short 2 to 2.5 block walk and this helps it be quiet and secluded at night. It was the perfect choice with the main concern being a clean room. The Fountain Creek delivered.

This was my second stay at the Fountain Creek Inn and it is my favorite place to stay in Manitou Springs! The rooms are simple but have everything you need. Everything is cleaned and well-maintained, and I love being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown.

This inn was a short walk into town which was perfect for us. The room has been updated and is everything you need for a stay in the heart of Manitou Springs. We walked to the base of the incline for a morning hike and this was conveniently located for that too. It was about a mile to the incline. It was a super easy contactless check in. We would definitely stay here again. The view from the balcony was pretty too.

Excellent communication! While their number on google maps was wrong, we still had great communication w the inn via the booking app messaging. The bed was very comfortable and the comforter was exceptional! They are strict about their check in and out. But I get it. They love their property and want to keep it in good condition for visitors to come.

Fantastic value. Looks like an old motel from the outside, but inside, rooms are great. Ours was a converted double room. Very spacious. On the edge of town, so walking distance to everything. Would definitely return.

Overall we were happy with our experience. The room was cute, clean and well appointed and it was nice to be close to a stream. Manitou Springs is an easy walk away. Communication was a little impersonal and after receiving information about how to access the room we got a generic message that there was an issue generating the code. I received no response to my query and had to search for a number to call when we arrived so we could access the room. Michelle was helpful when I got through to her. The bed was comfortable and while we could hear our neighbours a little, it was not so bad that it caused a disturbance. There are only blinds on the window and nothing covering the frosted glass in the front door which meant that light constantly shone into the room which made it hard to sleep. That said, I’d consider returning if we come back to the area.
