I had an exceptional dining experience at this beach-facing restaurant. The mushroom appetizer was a delightful start, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The shrimp & grit main course was a symphony of tastes, with succulent shrimp complementing the creamy grits flawlessly. Another main course Ahi tuna served with rice and veggies was a highlight, impeccably seared and served with precision. The stunning view added to the overall ambiance, making it a must try five-star experience
Definitely the classiest restaurant in the neighborhood! The atmosphere, service, and cleanliness was excellent and the food was exceptional! I’d say this is a chef-driven restaurant, possibly one who’s cooked in New Orleans. We LOVED the cocktails, the pupu’s (appetizers in HI) and our dessert was mind blowing! Our server gave excellent advice to our questions and was clearly head & shoulders above most. We were very impressed and must go back for a full meal! We were feeling extravagant and probably spent more than most would, and it was worth every cent!
Went to dinner with a friend for her birthday. Our waitress was super friendly, funny and offered great service! The food was delicious! We had hushpuppies, fish (sword) burgers, Cajun fries, and the desserts were epic. Chocolate tort and Cheesecake with lilikoi topping. Next time I'm in Kona, I'm coming for that Chocolate tort!
We had a recommendation for this restaurant. We got right in with no wait. The view is good but also on what seems to be the main drag for drug deals as we watched at least 2 from our waterfront seat. But the water was pretty. The service was really slow. It wasn’t busy at all so we were a bit perplexed at the lack of service. But with that said our waitress was very nice and did get all of our orders correct. The bathrooms need a code and were filthy. They need to spend a bit of attention on them. Two of the three of us like our food very much. I had the pesto chicken pasta and really liked it. Very tasty. One of our diners had the fish sandwich with potato salad and thought it was very good. Our other diner had the Szechuan ahi and didn’t like it at all. He said it didn’t have much flavor. The tuna was seared and was drowning in teriyaki sauce. So weren’t for three on food. There is a paid public parking lot behind the restaurant and parking was super expensive. But at least it was a lot. Give this place a try if you are in the area, there are a lot of choices nearby but it is decent and they have a large menu. Something for everyone.
Great view of the ocean, but the food portions are too small for the price. I ordered a cup of soup for $10 and it was barely enough to fill me up. The grilled fish entree was also disappointing, as it was just a few thin pieces of fish (see pic). I had to share some ribs from my friend's plate to satisfy my hunger. The only positive thing I can say is that the food tasted good, but that was not enough to justify the high cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants a filling and satisfying meal.
Hostess (Sadie) tried to stick us in the smallest table in the back corner of the restaurant when the whole floor was wide open with maybe 4 other guests. When I told her I’d prefer another table, she reluctantly moved us over and then had a weird attitude with us about it, threw the menus down and walked off. She then continued to walk by with an angry look on her face and never spoke to us again. Not the best way to start a meal. Server (Terry) was nice, and provided great service. View is good, and the open air dining area is nice. But I wouldn’t put somebody with bad people skills as a host, so maybe Sadie needs to be moved to a new position. Possibly janitor?
Came to have dinner here because it had a handful of vegetarian options and reviews/photos showed a sunset view. I had the grilled fish of the day (ono that day) and it was fantastic, 10/10! Really impressed with the quality and taste of the food, it was delicious. My partner (vegetarian) had the tomato bisque soup with grilled cheese and he said he enjoyed it. Sunset view was nice and the restaurant is right across the street from the water. When we arrived we did ask for a table on the lanai for a better view and the host said they saved those tables for larger parties even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Not a big deal as we were still able to see the view, but was disappointed when they continued to seat other parties of 2 in the seats we would have preferred. Right after dinner we walked out to the front of the restaurant to enjoy the sunset even closer to the water. All in all, food was good and I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a handful of vegetarian options.
View is great. Food is bad. Service is slow. Servers and nice and polite but again food is really bad so I’d probably go somewhere else. Elaboration: All of our food was very salty. The place is very overpriced for what they offer expect to pay $25 - $40 for a meal. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp pasta. Got 4 pieces of frozen shrimp and the pasta was terrible paid $25 for that. We also ordered the fish and chips and that was by far the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had.

Great educational tour to learn more about vanilla and the intense care it requires. We also enjoyed the vanilla ice cream and the products in the shop. Highly recommend!
The beach is worth the drive. Beautiful scenery. There is quite a hike to get to the green sand beach itself though. Not steep or difficult, just long. About 3 miles one way. There is a group that is offering to drive you down to the beach and back f

Fantastic neighborhood park with parking, clean bathrooms, and lots of grass. We walked up to the park from AliâI Drive and the walk wasn't too bad. We came on a slightly overcast morning and I would imagine the play structure will get hot on sun
Incredible all vegan menu, food is extremely flavorful and varied. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and very different from each other. Price is fair, setting and atmosphere is a bit cramped but bright and inviting. Wait time was reasonable
