Foster Village Park - Park in Watauga - 6600 Starnes Rd, USA

Kind of run down but they have lots of shaded picnic tables with little grills that look very inviting. The playground is also shaded which is nice.

My granddaughter loves going to watch the men playing basketball (she's 2), and she loves the playground.

The kickball fields have new dirt, and some have gotten new fencing and bleachers for sitting on. This is a great thing for these girls who are playing in the league.

I have lived up the road from this park since before was there. We have owned 1of the first houses there was a wind mill top of hill for maybe a couple of years. We have Loved this park throughout our lives. We have been here since 1976. Thank You Foster Village for Soooo Many Memories 🙏 ❤️ 💙 😊

One star is only because there is not a below zero this by far was the absolute worst representation of a city I've ever seen the park itself was nice and decent it was only the Community Center and it's Representatives that were extremely rude to me and my wife and all my guests that attended the baby shower the air was cut off and we were threatened with the presence of police before our time was even up! I paid full price received 1/4 (maybe)of what we paid for. 2 employees walked into the middle of the wrong giving instructions for people to leave waving a contract and was very rude to my wife and family and then She called the police!! They came! baby shower raid?!?! Wow Watuga Texas!! It has to be the employees we encountered 3/7/23, There is recorded footage of all of this. I did not receive AIR, RESPECT OF PRIVACY, and me and my family were THREATENED WITH POLICE PRESENCE. IT'S UNEXCEPTABLE and Embarrassing for your town. Please somehow make a change in staff that will treat paying and respectful Customers accordingly. (See follow up with 2WIMC )

My two sons and our dog and I walk this park twice a week it's our favorite. It's a good long trail perfect for quality talks with the kids ☺️

My son and I went there to play tennis. Hard to find free courts to play at. These court's we're in good shape. This small park also has a picnic pavilion, bathrooms, basketball courts and kids baseball fields. It is usually not a crowded park. I do dislike that the city of Watuaga makes you drive 20 mph going by this non crowded park. And let me not forget to mention that on this same property is a house to rent for events. My wife rented it for my 50ith birthday and we had about twenty people fit in there comfortably.

Easy to find great place to bring smaller kids if you have any
