Rooms are efficient, and the beds are very comfortable. The most important part is how clean they are. They are so kind to my family. The cleaning lady goes up and beyond. The location is wonderful for brewers' game, zoo, or downtown for conferences or go to Outlets or mall Nothing more than 10 minutes
We were in town for a Brewers game and rented two rooms at the Forty Winks Inn. It was easy to get to from the stadium. The rates were low compared to most other hotels. It's a two star motel, so don't expect luxury. I commend the owners and staff for keeping everything so clean. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff was excellent. It's a secure building with a key necessary to enter any of the outer doors. It was very quiet and we were able to sleep through the night without disturbance. If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive and clean place to stay, I would recommend the Forty Winks.
The reviews on here are absolutely spot on. This hotel is a diamond in the rough and I definitely recommend it. I was on my first solo road trip vacation and was lookin for somewhere safe, secure, clean, and resonably priced. This hotel checked all those boxes. Not sure why its only 2 stars but maybe because its just a simple hotel, no pool and no breakfast, etc. The room's decor could use some uodating but it was very clean and the bed was not only huge but it was really comfortable. The tv had cable but with weird channels so they should maybe put a guide in the room. The front desk staff were very friendly. There is also alot of food options nearby. If u are in the area i definitely recommend this hotel!
Staff is very nice and friendly, hotel has a very good house keeper , rooms are very clean and she was keeping up the hallways and everything, quietly , bright and early..There is no pool or anything..Free coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning, but I would defidently recommend this hotel ...
Hands down a fantastic place to stay in Milwaukee! If you need a place to stay w/o a ton of amenities this is it. I don't say that in a negative way. It's very affordable, quiet, and clean. This is the type of place I look for when I travel.
Forty Winks is on the outskirts of town if you don't want to be caught up in city center traffic. It is quite near the ballpark, zoo, and Miller Brewery though. It appears to be an older independent motel that is well taken care of. The rooms are larger than average, clean, and comfortable. I will note that the room only had soap provided. They have travel shampoo at the front desk with a price on it, but when we asked, we were given some for free. I'm not sure if we just got lucky and are supposed to charge or what. They also sell water for $1. It comes off as a little nickel and dime kind of feel, but it's not enough to not recommend it. It seemed to be one of the cheaper motels in Milwaukee and is plenty comfortable for a stay of a night or two.
Our room was adequate for a one night stay--basically what we expected. However, for being a non-smoking room we could tell upon walking in that there was a lingering stale smoke smell from long ago, probably in the older carpets. Also, the TV remote would not turn on at first. Bad connection or new remote needed. Room 214.
This is an off the chain place to stay. It’s no frills. Cost effective for needing someplace to just sleep. Easy to get in and out off and close to food. The staff is friendly. The place is secure and very clean. There is coffee and tea in the morning. No breakfast and no pool. Room has small fridge and microwave. Would recommend and would stay here again.

This might be the best take out food in the city. Here's the thing: I've only tried one of their bowls. Let me explain. On my first visit, I ordered the Tuna Volcano bowl and it was amazing. Like, how-is-this-so-good amazing. After eating said bowl,
This is a beautiful park and a great example of urban ecology in action. From quarry to landfill to an amazing park in a small footprint, this park is truly enjoyable. We enjoy the hikes up to the top of the hill and the many ways in which you can
