Such a great golf course, the views are spectacular and open , housing surrounds the golf cours so you're going through a residential neighborhood in the desert with abundance of green 💚

Don’t waste your money. The course is TERRIBLE shape with ratty teeboxes, endless gritty hardpan and bogus greens. Worse than the cheapest muni we’re ever played. They say that a bad day of golf is still a good day - NOT at the 49ers.

A nice course golf for the value! The course is relatively tight and with a lot of trees, which reminds me of the Midwest courses I learned to play on. Greens were in pretty good shape. Some of the fairways were a bit rough, as were some areas outside the cart path, but we enjoyed our time here overall.

Very nice golf course to play. It was in good shape, pace was good. Only drawback was the beverage girl only showed up on the first hole when we didn't need anything, and we never saw her again? We could have used more beverages! 😟

There's plenty to like at 49ers. The staff in she shop and the restaurant are friendly, attentive, and they will remember you. It's a great value playing here as the rates are reasonable and the memberships are an even better value. The food can be hit or miss but more hits than misses. As far as hits go, avocado sunrise burger, club sandwich, or pizza, are all good choices. Prices on food are pretty steep. A Sunrise Burger, Fries, and 2 Beers will probably set you back 30 plus tip. The new short game area is also a major upgrade to the facilities. The course design is classic and different than the typical target golf you find in the desert. There are plenty of tight par 4s and doglegs. Minimal water except on 18 (I think that's the only water on the course). The trees here are mature, so are the homes. It has a great character and I often feel like I have gone back in time, (in a nice way). There are some things that could be better though. The range maxes out at about 220 yards. Personally, I think this is fine, since you don't need to hit much driver on this course anyways (some days the longest club I carry is a 7 iron and its fine). The downside here is that despite the many signs saying 220 max, this is not observed or enforced. I've had a couple of close calls on the 9th green. This kind of speaks to most of the things that could be better, it's a lack of enforcement of rules and etiquette. Signs say pace of of play is enforced but I have never seen that, and if the weather is nice, I can count on a 5-5.5 hour 18. I don't even mind that too much except that it is hard to establish a rhythm when you wait 10-15 minutes at the tee. When your round is going slowly because of groups ahead of you, the people behind you can sometimes get so impatient that they continually hit into you. I was hit into 3 times today (Seriously, who hits into another group on multiple par 3s, they did not yell fore any of the three times). There are signs all over that say proper golf attire is required, but that isn't enforced either. Some days I see more denim and t-shirts than I do golf attire. Maybe I am a traditionalist when it comes to golf and this push to make the game "bigger" has left me in the stone ages, but I don't see this as much at the other courses I play. In the summer, some of the holes are kind of like Tin Cup's driving range, just dirt. Tee boxes are uneven year round. It's not a place I would bring my boss, coworkers, or family for golf, they would probably look at me a little side eyed. It's more a course that I would bring buddies who I am not trying to impress. I wish this course would take themselves a little bit more seriously. It says Country Club on the sign after all, that usually carries some standards with it. Overall it's still a good time though. 49er is a solid value and the folks there work hard to make it a fun and pleasant experience.

We absolutely love having our disc golf tournaments here! Very beautiful with a fun and helpful staff as well. They should totally consider using Hydraulic Repair and Supply for any and all their Hydraulic needs! 😉

This is a nice course. Wonderful layout. However, they just really struggle throughout the year conditions wise. But if you're looking for a course that has lots of trees, beautiful scenery at a reasonable price, this is your place.

Great facility, carts were nice as was the staff and the food in the restaurant. The only reason for 4 stars was the condition of the course. Lots of muddy patches and lots of bare dirt in the fairways and even on the greens. In the winter I bet this course is fantastic though!
