Excellent spot for truly authentic latin pastries! Display cases were full and beautifully designed/displayed. Service was prompt, courteous and patient- there is a lot to choose from and everything looks so delicious. Ordered Arepa de Chocio, cassava bites, Panoleta Guava &cheese, Corn Empanadas with Beef - and let me tell you, the pastries were fresh and perfectly baked/ fried! So good!! Highly recommend if you are interested and in the area
I tried two of your bakeries. Both times I found the employees not willing to serve a paying customer if you speak English. Both stores I tried I had the same I welcoming feeling! I tried to give you business because I believe in supporting local immigrants and want to help them. But you folks came to America because it is a better place than Columbia. You refused to serve me at both locations. Only when my Spanish speaking friend speak up did we get service. You should respect the English language and embrace it! If I was in Columbia I would learn your language and customs. You should learn ours. Why did you come here if you don’t like us or the English language? I won’t be back! Maybe that’s what you want.
It’s a shame what this bakery has become. I have been going to this specific Fortuna’s bakery for 5+ years and I could vouch it was one of the best Colombian bakeries in town. Everything changed once they started to branch out and open new locations. Seems like the ownership is focusing on quantity and forgot about quality…
We had dinner near buy and after dinner we wanted something sweet. They satisfied our sweet tooth and coffee. Nothing uber special about the place but they had solid desserts and decent coffee.
The coffee here is great. I had a Guava and Cheese pastry delicious!!! I had another dessert picture below (forgot the name) I was okay not a big fan.
Amazing food, the staff was quick and friendly, we could sit outside with our dog… best bakery I’ve been to.
Great place to get your fix of empanadas and sweets. Service is prompt, empanadas are delicious. I did taste a bit more mashed potatoes in my empanadas than elsewhere. Also, cream in the cakes is too sweet for my taste. Latte is delicious. There's limited seating available outside by the parking lot.
