Went there to check out the Medical assistant program. They said it was a 9 month program, and they wanted 18,000$!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD???????? I went to the Warren county career center, which is a wayyy better rated program, lovely teachers and admins. Not only a great highschool but also one of the better rated adult education schools as well. And they wanted 3,300$. Over 6x cheaper. And for a way better rating. If your thinking of going to fortis college, just don't. Me and my wife when we went there and sat in the lobby waiting for someone to give us a tour heard some of the nastiest and most foul conversations being had in the main lobby and staff were joining in on the conversations. When a college staff has those types of conversations in general-let alone in the lobby plus on top of the 18k class, you know it's not a good college. Please do not go here, waste of money and is a bad school in general.

I enjoyed attending the MA program here, my admissions rep Randy was great, I made great friends, the program director (Stacey!) is wonderful, and the small class size was ideal for me. They even provided a path to employment with their partner, Premier Health, where I have been happily employed since. I do recommend actually doing all of your work and study in order to learn anything, as full completion of assignments is not enforced. The administration, however, leaves much to be desired. The people always seemed kind but... In the 9 months the MA program lasts, I saw at least 3 if not 4 campus presidents. They're on their 3rd or 4th career services representative. I don't remember seeing the same faces more than a few weeks. It's hard to build trustworthy relationships with the people guiding you when those people are always changing. Nevermind keeping track of any paperwork or changes. On that note, they not only did not permit my class our honors as we walked 1 week early, but mixed up final grades and transcripts. Not the sweetest note to finish on. All in all, nice people, pricey (it IS an expedited program school), but leadership is very unsteady and leaves you wanting.

I have had nothing but great experiences with this school the teachers are all hands on and are committed to ensuring your success, all they ever ask of us is to put in the time and effort, but that is to be expected at any school especially a trade school, they don't treat us like we're just students, they treat us like fellow tradesmen and women. We focus on the work at hand but we also have fun while we're doing it, I'm currently enrolled in the HVAC-R program and have gained a ton of current and applicable knowledge. Joe, Mike, Dale, Bob, and Randy have become like a second family to me as staff members, Veronica has been nothing but helpful and supportive in helping me find employment and establishing a career path. Everyday I'm there I get asked by a staff member about my day and how things are going even though they're not all HVAC-R instructors. There is a lot of diversity within the student body and the staff and I have come to consider a lot of them as friends. Centerville Fortis is the place to be.

When I started school it was wonderful are we not got a new Dean and everything's been turned upside down and it's been just miserable for my last quarter I used to suggest that school to everybody now I'm not so sure

If you have the determination and are a diligent person, Fortis College can be quite beneficial. This school offers classrooms that are smaller than many universities and community colleges which allows the students to bond and create lasting professional relationships. I attended Fortis College from 2011 to 2013 and graduated with my Associate's Degree of Applied Business (Paralegal Studies) and it has only made my path more clear. Education is something very important to me and this school offers a step in the right direction. The classrooms have real world technology and you are given projects that reflect real world situations. I urge people to come in and look at the school and make a decision based on what YOU think about it and do not let others discourage you! You cannot put a price on your future!

Going to this college was the biggest mistake of my life, not only is it more expensive than other colleges they DO NOT help you find a job. I got hired at my internship and was laid off 3 months later due to business finances, I called Fortis because they said they would always be there to help us find a job but they never returned my calls, another girl I graduated with said the same thing and is currently only working part time. I am now making more money at the retail job I mistakenly left for college. All this school did was put me even more in debt. Maybe if you go for nursing or HVAC but the paralegal program will get you nowhere.

Fortis was the worst decision of my life. The nursing program is not credited or they are on probation. The teachers are not experienced, its too expensive and NICE PLACES DO NOT HIRE FROM TECH SCHOOLS. The financial aid department did not know what they were talking about. One semester there (where my credits did not transfer) was a waste of $6,000.

Would have really liked to go here, as it is a close to home convenient location with many degree programs. However, as soon as I submitted my email and phone number asking for information I was bombarded with out of state phone calls trying to "get to know me better" then wanting to connect me with an advisor at the school. I just had basic questions about how long the program will take and how much the costs are. Also wanting to know if they do internships or place students in hands on practice. I was never given any answers and just pushed into making an appointment to answer my questions and asked to bring a friend or family member with me who might also be interested in going to Fortis. Nothing but a scripted sales pitch. Not personal not helpful just pressure into signing up.
