Great State Park! The lake and trail is abundant with different ecotones and wonderful varieties of wildflowers that attract butterflies and birds. The staff is friendly and helpful (a special thanks to Diana, a volunteer).

Fort Yargo obviously has received a nice chunk of change from the state!!!! This park has had so many upgrades and improvements over the last year and it seems that a lot more is coming. My family and I have always enjoyed visiting, this is icing on the cake!!

Beautiful place very people friendly excellent fishing walking trails hiking trails, bike trails close to shopping and eating pharmacy everything is within 10 minutes away

Beautiful park! There is so much to do here! Fun for all ages and all seasons! Hiking, beach, bridge, gift shop, putt putt, disc golf, camping, canoes, paddle boats! WOW!! You need your own supplies for discount golf and putt putt. Have fun!

Ft. Yargo State Park is a beautiful, peaceful place that is prime for connecting with the Creator and one's self. It's the place where I do some of my best soul care! This is our maybe 6th or 8th time at Yargo. We stay in the walk in camping for dirty spokes, gone riding, and chsinbuster mtb races. Always clean, quiet relaxed atmosphere. Camp hosts are always kind and considerate and helpful. This time we had 3 ducks visit us two weekends in row always welcomed. They love crackers. Lol

Friendly, helpful staff. Building overlooks the beautiful lake. I love to watch the turtles sun themselves on the logs. Very relaxing atmosphere. The lake at the moment is drained due to construction of a new dock or two.

I like the ladies restroom, very clean. I swim at the lake then sit on a towel in my car and drive there to change. Much nicer than the restroom at the beach. It is located outside the gift shop which has very nice items for sale. Staff very friendly.
