Fort William Henry Hotel and Resort - Hotel in Lake George - 46 Canada St, USA

We paid a lot of money for 2 nights, almost $1500.00. The white linens were stained, the paint was peeling off the ceiling, the room was on the first floor and it was so noisy at night between the trucks pulling in doing deliveries and the guest that were really loud. The food was okay, it would have been nice if it was warm when we got it. The bottle of lotion in one of the pictures was the bottle that was left in the room for the guest to use, and that's how it was left for us. After showering, I was walking around in the room, getting my stuff together and and my feet felt disgustingly sticky. So I looked, and the bottom of my feet were black from walking on the carpet in the room we were in, # 149. When we first got there, I had to ask the front desk for someone to go clean the floors because when we entered the room there was a pile of food, and dirt swept up against the wall behind the door. The staff was nice and apologized for the room not being fully cleaned before we entered. But that still doesn't excuse the fact that it was left there! Needless to say, we will never spend another night in that hotel. We would have gone to another hotel in the area. Had there been an available room for the nights we were there. Unfortunately, there was nothing available, and we were there for a wedding, so we reluctantly stayed. Each experience is very different, which is why I wanted to share ours. Best of luck.
