Peaceful, relaxing views . Nice place to take a walk around the fort. Nice sunrise 🌅
It’s got everything a beach, walking trail, a park, fort, two lighthouses, is dog,kid and elderly friendly, great sunset views and free parking in the winter. Just gorgeous.
I luv it here, the scenery and families out without masks is great to see. But....I heard stuff in the fort, underground bunker area. I saw underwear, and a hypodermic 💉 outside the tunnel where kids were playing. Ive said it before...close them!!! Seal them up!!! Or clean them out and put locked gates on the openings. I'm sorry if they are shelter for some, but if my grandkids got stuck with that needle.... The city would hear from a lawyer! That's the only part, and a big part of the downfall of this beautiful, historical site. Also, the beach is very clean..but there's a big pipe with water or some liquid pouring into the ocean...not sure what it is...
The park is beautiful and a nice place to take a stroll. There's an old fort with a lighthouse on top and a very long pier you can walk out on. There are walking and cycling paths and a small beach. Now the bad. I paid to park because the sign said so. I paid over the phone by texting the number on the sign. They accepted my payment. I went to use the bathroom since it was a long ride and it was locked. I met a regular who told me they are always locked and there isn't a Porta potty or any other option. He also told me you don't have to pay to park this time of year but they don't tell you that and of course they accept the money. This is stealing in my book. The City of New Bedford is corrupt and should pay everyone back and put the dates on the signs or cover them completely.
This park is beautiful. The water views are out of this world, plenty of food spots abound nearby, great for all.
Beautiful spot to walk the grounds. Great views of the harbor entrance and Buzzards Bay. Lots of grassy areas and a smooth paved bike and walking path. A very broad and long Pier also.
Nice place to visit. The grounds are very well kept, and there are some great views ... and interesting history there. Wish we visited when the (limited hours) museum was open. A few of the outdoor signs need replacing. Stay away from under the old turret.
It’s a great place to walk in the Spring and Fall. Whoever made the plans for this park had no clue. During the warmer weather be prepared to suffer sun stroke. The playground is placed in the blazing sun. Absolutely no shade. It’s always empty in the summer. All along the winding walk there’s no shade. No breeze there day, temp in lower 80’s and only one other person walking. Sad. If the City wants to make money, they should put up a bunch of shade trees and picnic tables in those two large open areas. Restrooms are well maintained. The cafe should either be open during parking hours of completely closed. I haven’t seen it open yet and I’m there everyday. Let’s get it together New Bedford. There are a lot of tourists coming here and they can’t even get a water or sit in a shady spot to enjoy the ocean.

Beautiful scenery of the water, with places to stop and chill, on a bench or the beach as you're walking. I walked from the New Bedford side to the Fairhaven side, it was approximately 6 miles, and it was so enjoyable I didn't even notice how far I'd
This is my first time visiting Classy Commons Park. I walk by it all the time and only ever noticed the playground in the front which isn't of interest to me as an adult. Today while out looking for new street art to post, I was walking a bit slower
I have never looked forward to an exercise class as much as I do going to a class at The Barre. It is such a welcoming community in a beautiful, calming and impeccably clean space. They truly welcome all bodies, all ages, all shapes and all abilities

A Great little restaurant with a Cape Verde flair. I was very pleasantly surprised at the sauce served on my steak and eggs. Quick, inexpensive and a throwback to breakfast shops and diners of my youth (again with a spicy little kick).
Had our ceremony last week and it was beautiful even with all the rain. We had the ceremony under the tent and was able to take pictures in the museum. Claudio was wonderful to work with. His communication throughout the process was on point. He was
We needed a large quantity of donuts for our wedding this summer and Daily Made Donuts not only had the best donuts in the area but were also super kind and accommodating of our request. The donuts are fluffy and light and delicious, and received man
