Me and my son had the best day together there exploring the creepy bunkers, right on the ocean, saw a huge heard of elk, right up close right in the park. My son loved it there and loves exploring would like to find more fun places we can explore together. I have photos of the elk heard I will be adding later

Really cool piece of history! I recommend looking around and spending a lot of time there, there is a lot of cool things hiding that you would never see if your just rushing through.

We cycled here from the campground in the park. We were very impressed with the visitor centre. Nice staff, informative exhibits. As Brits we weren't aware of the Japanese bombardment of Fort Stevens or of the US / Spanish War. The fort itself is interesting, my husband liked the vehicle exhibits. There is a disc golf course in the grounds - again knew nothing about that - looks fun. The views of the estuary are stunning. Recommend. @grandrovervoyager

Fort Stevens is a fantastic state park with beautiful trails and amazing historic sites. The park rangers do a great job of maintaining this wonderful park -- many thanks to them!

Fun place to explore. Besides the museum, historic sites and tours there is access to the water, beautiful trees and nature. Picnic tables and disc golf is available. Eagles, elk, deer and wildflowers can be seen. There are bike paths in the area where you can explore the lake and the beautiful flower blooms that can be seen for miles. It is truly a gorgeous location!

This is a great small historical place to visit if you like history and especially USA military history. There is a reasonable all day parking fee a small history museum and gift shop. Besides the usual gift store items there were throwing discs. Come to find out there is a disc golf course on the green area where players frequently toss those discs around. It was interesting to watch how precise they could be. The rest of the fort in it's renovation state was a relatively short hike with trails marked and more dangerous places blocked from entry.

Great place to check out if you're in the area. Small little museum/shop if you want to get some but also read about the fort. Good walking trails and easy to walk for all ages. Also great place for disc golf. Can even by disc's at the shop.

If you've never been here, I always recommend visitors spend time here. Bring food and make it a picnic lunch. There is a HUGE area of bunkers to explore, and open fields with frisbee golf. The museum is small but fun to go through. Bathrooms and dog
