Fort Smith Riverfront Trail - Park in Fort Smith - , USA

Impromptu walk today here. We actually parked halfway in the middle by the new rv park being built and walked to the steel bridge going left on the concrete trail. On the way back we stopped and turned down real trails and man we walked forever! At the bridge there was a fire going under the bridge by someone but it was fine we just turned back. If you go into the forest trails use tick spray bc boy we were covered lol didn't know it was serene through that area though.

Never been to Fort Smith? This is the place to start! Live here, and want to go on a date? This is the place to come! Have desire to exercise and ride a bike? This is the area to explore! Want to unwind and simply relax? This is the path for a walk! ...Fort Smith- Fort Smoooth!!!!!

Such a gem for those who love long hikes and walking down the river! It was such a great surprise and discovery on my trip to Fort Smith

It’s not as pretty as we expected. And lots of ant mounds so be careful if you’re walking your dogs. The trail is a good distance. Plenty of parking.

Great ride. Bike path is great. Good view. Parking is good!

Very clean, well manicured, tucked between downtown and the river boasting an all accessible paved trail. Bikes for rent for the trail/ city. Definitely consider bringing your mountain/ bmx bike, scooters, skates/ boards for the park.

I don't know who the authority is on this trail. It's about to get too trashy (homeless) for me. I just rode up to the 5mile marker...most areas are clean. There is a stretch that has lighting...so I assume the city encourages night walking and riding. I recommend not walking or riding alone as I have never in 2 yrs seen this area patrolled.
