Plenty of space and trails

Highest point in DC. Not much to do, but a decent walk and good for the historical perspective.
Highest point in the District of Columbia.accesdible from the Tenleytown Metro on the Red Line and close to restaurants and whole foods and more.
Want to get out but not go miles out of the city. Ft Reno Park is perfect for a dog walk, a picnic to watch local sports or even work out. And it has great views.
This is the perfect place to go for a walk, outdoor show, or picnic in NW DC. The grounds are maintained well and there's plenty of room to accommodate lots of people. It's not heavily forested (which might sound like a downside for a park), but its sense of expansiveness -- which is only accented on a gorgeous day -- gives Fort Reno something special. Adding to the uniqueness is the architecture of the towers and the graffiti murals.
Best sleigh riding in all of Washington DC.
Living in a big city it is difficult to find good quality and safe hills for sleigh riding during Winter. Ft. Reno Park has this great hill that can handle dozens and dozens of people sliding down without running into each other.
The view over Tenleytown is great and the slope is medium (not too mild, not too steep).
Next time there is a wintery snow in DC, get yourself and your kids over to this park and have some fun!

There is a beautiful park around Fort Teno. Not much to see but the tower. There are signs posted all over it "no trespassing " so you can't get close to it. Beware they don't have guard dogs. They have guard 🐝! Lol
Go check out Fort Reno, it's the highest natural elevation point in the District of Columbia.

It is a nice garden to walk around or rest on a grass. You can see the Washington Monument from here. Also, it is right next to the Lincoln Memorial. There is a pond that living creatures live.
I like the view of Washington Monument pictures from th
One of the best places to spot the beautiful and iconic cherry blossoms which draw the whole world to DC. Here are some pics that were taken during sunset that give the pink beautiful flowers, a golden glow. Must visit during the peak bloom time!
Awesome little neighborhood park. Literally a hidden gem, tucked away between houses. The neighborhood association and City do a great job of keeping it up. It is a bit small and crowds quickly.
The biggest thing to know is that there are a numbe
We went there for a brisk evening walk, never expecting the Sun to be very intense. But so it was. Apart from that, this place is very beautiful. There are some restaurants adjacent to the waterfront where people can dine outside. The park is clean a
Had a great time touring the Capitol. We had to reserve a time to go on but totally worth it. The tour guide was informative and funny. They use these head phone sets which enable you to hear the guide no matter how far back from them you are. It is
This is a little-known treasure in SW Washington, DC. It was a gift from the women and children of the Titanic to the men, most of whom died, who chose to stay aboard the sinking ship to make room in the life boats for women to children. This inspiri
Shady respite from the bustle of Connecticut Ave, bountiful birdsong, a few more cicadas in recent days, and friendly neighbors. Several creek crossings - choose your footwear well and bring a camera!
Great park away from the busy part of town. Free parking. Great for cycling and running. Kids play structure on the south side. Really enjoyed spending time here during our visit to DC.
Went sledding here with some friends, inspired by my memories of sledding there during Snowpocalypse when I was at AU. It lived up to my rosy mems and did not disappoint! I would be a little cautious because you gain serious speed, and my friend actu
This is one of the nicest small trails in this region of the Rock Creek Park area. The trail crosses a little creek several times. The forest is pleasant and green, and the walk is fairly easy. The trail ends near the Peirce Mill site in Rock Creek.
Easily the best trainers I have worked with across multiple states and gyms. During the 2+ years I have worked with Fitness Together, I have seen dramatic results and that is even more impressive considering most of my sessions are now online. How th
I love coming to barre at the DuPont studio and canât recommend it highly enough. The classes are challenging (there are multiple formats) but inclusive of people of all ages and fitness levels. When I first started barre, I didnât anticipate big
While I haven't trained at many BJJ schools, my experience at Estilo for the past year and a half has set a high bar in terms of my expectations for how a school should operate. The level of instruction, the variety of activities (expert seminars, in

Dang this was good. I was looking for a quick and healthy lunch to bring with me into a brewery close by and this didnât disappoint. I actually got 2 lunches to try multiple things. I got the Buffalo cauliflower tacos and the Sushi bowl. Both had
I normally don't give a five star review, but I had a lot of fun here. It is on the second floor and there is no sign. We arrived at 4:30 pm on a Friday and people were already waiting. By opening time at 5pm, there were enough people to fill the pla
Never seen a bad review of this place and rightfully so! The food is so delicious and you feel completely at home. A quirky and very comfortable neighborhood spot that is super affordable and fantastic for brunch.

What an incredible studio. My wife and I are only in town for the week but so glad we trained here. The instructors are amazing and they have a wonderful gym culture where my we both felt very welcome. Highly recommended.
Iâve been coming here since February of 2022 and love it. Iâve been doing CrossFit since 2007 and have been to many gyms over the years. First, the coaches and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming - whether youâre a newbie, beginner, dr
Big fan of the layout and appreciated the no-contact service. Ordering was easy to do with my phone and staff was helpful if folks had any difficulties. The outdoor layout is comfortable. The beverages were clearly made fresh and full of flavor - sna
