Fort LeBoeuf Historical Museum - Museum in Waterford - 55 High St, USA

This is one of Waterford's best kept secrets. Even if you have been there during your school years, it is worth taking another look. The interior is constantly being improved and changed. Highlighting the French and Indian War, this little museum is a real gem!

I was happy to see that the museum was open. Been driving passed this place for decades and it was ALWAYS closed. Great local collection. People do not appreciate the great importance of this site in American history. I'll be back when we have more time

The museum is very informative and interesting. The staff is very knowledgeable, and makes the history come to life. My 8 year old daughter loves the museum, which has instilled in her a love of learning more history.

Wonderful way to spend an hour with family for an educational experience. The manager is so kind and helpful! The blacksmith is a wealth of knowledge as well and interesting to watch. This museum is a great stop to view many arrowheads and relics of the Native American and French presence here. Newly updated and awesome! Thanks for a fun visit! This place is free but donations are much appreciated.
