Great place to go. Just enjoy the water, for sure of the dock put in your kayak or canoe or put in your boat. This great fishing right around there too right now so look out for those red fish, snappers and sheep heads

This is one of Manatee County's outdoor gems. Fort Hamer Park is located between Parrish and Bradenton and is accessible via Fort Hamer Road. Public boat launch gets very busy during the weekends so there is also parking across the street. Bathrooms are very well-maintained here too. 👏🏼 There are also picnic tables and charcoal grills under beautiful, shaded oaks.

Great boat launch, vehicle and trailer parking with over flow lot just in the other side of Ft. Hamer road. There is a nice small shaded park area as well. Nice place to picnic or just chillax and people watch. Planning to slide a boat in soon and check out the marine benefits this launch provides access to. Also seen Kayaking and paddle boarding, looks friendly to all types of water lovers.

Nice place to sit by the river and have a picnic. Just don't go near dinner as you might get trapped by everyone getting their boats out of the water.

Naturally beautiful area with lots of wildlife to see in this preserved Florida park. This area of Parrish is one of the fastest growing areas in Manatee County and is convenient to an abundance of shops and restaurants.

Lovely park. They have a nice boat ramp and even spaces for parking with trailers. The bathrooms are clean and wheelchair accessable. Overall very beautiful place. I would go there again.

Had a beautiful sunny almost windless day and kayaked from the park up to Devil's Elbow took about 4 hours out and back. Slow water. Saw one gator, no manatee.

I went out for a early morning Sunday drive ans decided to visit Ft. Hamer Park. I was very impressed. Gorgeous views, people milling about. Boats began to come in to use the boat ramps. Very clean. This is also a training facility for crewing. In talking to a gentleman he said many teams come from up North to practice here in Jan. I will return, loved it!
