Definitely a great Beach to experience. I don't think you could go wrong with any beach around this area, but if I recommend one it might be this one. I believe there were some restrooms close by and the waves were not huge. So if you wanted to go out a little ways you could. Take your kiddos and enjoy life!
I always love visiting here. It's a beautiful park but more importantly, I love the museum. It's a must see and an easy walk from any hotel on Waikiki.
This park has everything you need, parking, restaurants, bistros, cafe, museum, beach, shade under trees, picnic areas, restrooms, and at the same time it is nicely landscaped, there is enough space for everyone and it is close to the most important POIs in the area.
Fort DeRussy Beach Park makes up the series of beaches popularly known as and collectively called the Waikiki Beaches. Together, than span a distance of an estimate of over a mile from Queens Beach to the southeast to the beach well to the west fronting the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Each beach, which makes up the collection of Waikiki Beaches, boasts it's own distinct character and qualities. Yet, as one walks along the shoreline, it's difficult to accurately know, where one beach ends and the adjacent beach begins. They all blend togrther. Eajoy and experience each inviting setting.
This is a beautiful place to hang out on the beach, snorkel with the fish and turtles, watch the sunset, and there's a great little beach bar right there.
We discovered that we can walk along the water's edge for over a mile, passing each resort along the way. The path is sketchy as you pass each hotel, but you can meander your way through some of the properties and keep going along the waterfront. A grand Waikiki explore!
In between two hotels next to the beach is this nice open park that has an Army museum on site. The area has expanses of nice lawn and some gorgeous trees. Seems a popular passageway to get to the beach without snaking through hotels. Lots of shady spots. The beach is narrow but a nice less crowded section it seemed. Military hotel is to one side. The Army museum used to be a bunker in the early a 1900 built to withstand bombardment. They tried it demolish it but it was not possible so they made a museum.

It was a difficult hike but totally worth every ragged breath. Most of the way up is filled with rubble but there is a small section that is open between each tram and it can be scary. But I took my time going up and coming down and I was fine. I saw
This hike phenomenal. Even the drive to reach this place is fantastic. There is a look out just before the tunnel itâs beautiful, driving thru the tunnel is also amazing with white lights. The views after reaching the top is amazing. One side is th
Not a place I'd bring kids or pets but a great time for adults who are confident swimmers. The waves are pretty gnarly and a couple of people underestimated how powerful they were and needed help getting back out of the water while I was there. If yo
No other beach like it , rugged coast up against raw chunky Diamond head itâs almost primal.. beautiful coco palms and several sea staircases give this beach unmatchable charm No restrooms , dog friendly no playground lots of picnic area
Other than loud music here and there , I love walking around the park from time to time. If you walk around the entire park 2-3 laps it will probably help you to achieve 6000+ steps depending on a route. Overall the best place to hang out with famili
We have been going here for years. It is one of the more popular playgrounds in Honolulu for kids. We have been to many around the city and this is our favorite. It's handy since we live so close. Parks system also offers loads of classes (volleyball
A favorite chill spot. It's actually a recreational center with a baseball field...it's huge. Busy sometimes with the keikis and sports. There's a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. Picnic tables & restrooms too. Nice view of Honolulu city
Great facility with a large pool, several outdoor basketball courts and a nice indoor court. Plenty of grass field space for baseball, softball, football, whatever you can think of. Itâs nice to not see any homeless in this park.
Ono, soo ono. If you enjoy the taste and feel of each bite in your mouth, this is the place for local, healthy, ono eats. Fresh every single time. This is the first time in my life that I have eaten at one restaurant three (3) times IN THE FIRST WEEK
Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout

I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
