Been coming here for years and heading there soon from Boston. Always a great stay with nice campsites and restrooms. Plenty to due in area and nice kayaking from boat launch in town just be aware of all the boat traffic. Fun in town too... once a jeep parade around Xmas time all decorated with lights. Restaurants are good also. One of Floridas best State Parks.Enjoy it...

We love this campground! The hosts do an amazing job and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. I think most sites are level (22 and 53 are ones we had and they are). We enjoy walking along the river to the jetty and the ocean. Also, it's fun to watch the boats and larger ships. A few notes: this campground is not within quick walking distance of a swimming beach, there are bugs including tiny "no-see-ems" so bring your spray, the sites are basically dirt so make sure to have a doormat. Despite these few items, this is still 5-stars for us and we've been to about 30 campgrounds over the last year. We'll definitely be back!

Our new Florida State favorite! Wildlife and privacy abound. We saw deer, armadillo, gopher tortoises, osprey etc. Very generous well spaced cozy campsites tucked beneath old oak canopies. Even on windy weekends your campsite is well protected from anything more than a slight comfortable breeze. The bath house is THE gold standard for State Park facilities. New clean climate controlled and spacious. No cramped little showers here! Washer and dryer present for those needing such amenities.

Very good place to camp or visit. Campgrounds are clean..sites are spacious. Bathhouses are clean and well kept. Great beach and river access. Magnificent sunrises and sunsets. Lots of history and nature to explore. The only negative is folks who think they don't have to follow any rules and don't have any respect for anything or anyone...

Campground was damp the whole time. The spots really need to be graveled or paved to make it more enjoyable. Couldn't put out our lawn chairs the whole time because of too much dirt and mud.

We were on a bucket list trip for a family member with cancer. He has since passed. This place was absolutely amazing. They didn't have a spot for us but they got creative and made one. We will always remember that kindness. ❤ The park was beautiful. The lake on one side and ocean on the other was just perfect. Someday, when I can afford the trip, I'll bring my kids so they can experience it too. Thank you so much for the memory.

We've been following Betty for years! So I think that in itself says we're pretty impressed! Personally what is most valuable to me is that Betty will meet you where you're at. She believes in you and encourages you. When you feel like you can't
