This Inn is incredibly quaint and exactly what a northerner would expect of the south. Our room was beautiful, 15' ceilings, sitting area, jetted tub and extremely comfortable beds. It was quiet and sits on the side of a stunning park. We enjoyed walking through farmer's market on the weekend, and watching joggers go by, families playing, and photographers taking those memorable engagement photos, from our rocking chair on the porch. The staff are attentive, kind and lovingly thoughtful. Our visit started on a sad day for our family, the staff left my Mom a beautiful note and flowers reminding us that although my dad, her husband has gone, it is always with us and will never be forgotten. It is these small gestures that will forever make this Inn a special place for us to continue to return to.
Stayed for 2 nights for business. Lovely quaint inn with history and a beautiful location. Staff is great and breakfast is good. I stayed in the cottage with a small living room and kitchen although I didn’t use either.
Parking is on the street , which is plentiful and free. The inn overlooks the beautiful park and is about 30 min from downtown by foot.
The only downside I experienced was the fact that breakfast is only served from 8am and on set times. For work I find this personally a bit late and not entirely flexible. So I would recommend this more for leisure.
This was a great experience. The room was clean, great temp, and great location!!!! I went with my friends of 30 years, and we loved every second in Savannah. The front desk person called and asked what time we wanted breakfast, and when it was served.... it was fabulous! Started off our vacation on the right foot!
Took an impromptu Labor Day trip. WE got the last room, which was in the basement so great window views were not on the table. It is old. The floor in the bedroom had carpet over "cobblestone", I assume. The detergent used to wash the quilts was a bit too stong for my wife. THOSE ARE THE ONLY NEGATIVES. Everything else, and I mean EVERYTHING ELSE was great. I'd give our room a 3.5 but trust me, it is a good 3.5 and not a negative. More personal preference, but the living room made up for it.
The Staff was friendly. I am horrible with names, but I think it was "Greg" or maybe not, but he waited until almost 9 pm for us to arrive late, on a Friday!! I even called and told him to go home and set us up for late check-in and HE REFUSED!! He waited and gave us a tour and told us how things went. That alone was amazing.
Breakfast every morning brought out hot to you. The menue was fixed, but that was just fine. The porch looked out onto Forsyth park, so good people watching as we drank our second cups of coffee. You could eat on the porch, too, but it was too much sun for us. Parked right in front with curbside parking, for free!
The staff were ALL amazing, friendly and welcoming. You really felt like you were genuinely welcome among good people. Great staff. That needed repeating. I want to go back and stay in one of the King rooms, but this being my first time at an Inn of this nature, I am kinda hooked and will go back soon. No kids under 12. Left the grand babies home and we all survived. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a different spin on staying in the historic district. You get the local feel and vibe and not just the impersonal tourist stuff. Also, You will find nice dining spots as you walk to the major shopping area.
We truly enjoyed our visit of 2 days and 3 nights. Great breakfast, 4: 30 wine and appetizers and 7pm dessert. What a treat,| We ate at Gryphon a SCAD restaurant, very reasonable and different menu.|We did the Savannah Tour hop on and hop off tour. We did the entire tour, great commentary. | We sat on the wide veranda very evening and enjoyed the breeze.|Thank you for a wonderful visit. We will be back.
We are so happy to have found this gem, from the minute we arrived we were greeted by liv(I think that’s her name ) and Gary, they were so gracious and friendly , made us feel right at home ! They answered all of our questions and made some nice recommendations, we were so surprised by the beautiful happy hour, where we had some wine and small hor douvers , in the most pleasant atmosphere! The bed is so comfortable we didn’t want to get up , the breakfast was served by Q and Stewart who are 2 of the nicest people and it was delicious! All we can say is we Will definitely come back on our next road trip !! Thank you everybody!!!!
Our stay (2 nights) could not have been more pleasant. Not knowing the area, our hosts were a wealth of information on what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was superb! It was quite enjoyable sitting on the porch, visiting with other guests. If we have an opportunity to return to Savannah, this is definitely where we will stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Forsyth Park Inn. Our room was clean, overlooking the courtyard, and felt more like a cozy apartment then a hotel room. Breakfast is freshly cooked and varies every day, excellent coffee available 24/7, hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon, and dessert at night. Friendly and personable staff always willing to help.
Great place to stay. The only thing that could have made our stay better would be a better mattress in our room. You are literally so close to a perfect review, but the mattresses need improvement!
I stayed here for a retreat from Nov 1-4 and I canât say enough about how amazing my stay was here. The house is absolutely gorgeous in every way. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was in a great location within walking distance to many attrac
I love the community and teachers at Savannah Power Yoga! Also the NEW LOCATION in Wilmington is GORGEOUS. They have thought of everything to have a clean, beautiful aesthetic with a spacious feel. When Iâm visiting Charleston itâs my hOMe studio
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
