Diverse use of spaces: fields, climbing stairs, hills, track, trails, picnic and party groves!! Kid's Nature Play area!!
There are so many well kept trails and paths in the Illinois Systems. A great way to spend the day.
Wonderful place to have my first camping experience since I was little. The staff was friendly and funny, making me feel like family, rather than just another customer. The grounds were well kept, and the bathroom was way cleaner than I expected of any "camping" bathroom. There was a fun and informational night hike when we went that both I and my boyfriend enjoyed just as much as our 6yr old. The grounds are close enough to modern comforts to not be terrifying for a first timer in case you forget something and also far enough away from busyness to be a great decompression getaway.
Only complaints are that the day we arrived, the water in the bathrooms was out for a good portion of the day, bathrooms and showers could not be used. Also the wood for the campfires was possibly too recently cut, or was left out in some rain, because it would not stay lit, and smoked a lot, like it was wet.
All in all, we had a lovely time, despite the intense heat
fantastic facility and great staff. Cook county should be proud. we slept 36 with plenty of room to spare. clean and well maintained. a jewel in the city. close enough for lake county and others. we're glad we can't use cookie pusher's props afterall. lol
Why, I found the woods simply splendid. A better place is hard to come by. As I wander amongst the fallen trees, my mind wanders back in time. Some of the woods here are original, primeval forest. I know that native Americans walked this same forest. I have found a number of arrowheads. I have been hiking this forest since childhood, nearly 50 years.
Very cool spot to RV camp. Not too far from stores. A little pricey tho for just electricity imo, but still pretty nice
Very good customer service when reserving for my up coming event.
Nice little campground. Lots of shade in the tent sites and flush toilets in the restrooms. Air conditioned climbing wall is a real plus when the temperature hits 90. Friendly and helpful staff tops it off.

I loved my meal so much that I had to immediately sit down and write this place a review. I had the crispy steak crispy mix with fries and and drink, and it was worth every single penny. It was around $15, which, when places like McDonald's want $13

One of the better locations I've visited. Lots of natural light and good selection of equipment, Not a huge facility but not so small that you have to worry about space to do your workout routines. Also, the vending machine was stocked with what I ne

This place canât be beat! Some of the best food in the South burbs, have had almost everything on the menu and itâs all good. Hot dogs, burgers, cheese fries and even tacoâs which are very underrated! Perhaps, most importantly, they give back a
Got the Gyro sandwich with a cup of chili. The chili was absolutely delicious, nice and warm; nice and beefy. One of the best Chili's I've had. The Gyro is definitely one of the top 5 I've had in the Chicagoland region as well! Keep up the great work
