This is a nice little shop in Manhasset. Honestly the drink prices are pretty good for the area, but the food is pricey. Everyone in my party enjoyed the taste of their food. The reason for the three stars is that 1, nice coffee shops like this should be serving in non-disposable dishes for customers dining in-store, and 2, the plates for the food were way too small for the portions, leading to a messy eating experience. Overall a nice place though!
Came in with my bicycle, and they were kind about letting me park it inside👍🏼 Very clean and large bathroom. The drip coffee was pretty good. I can’t speak on the food, but from looking at the menu it is quite expensive. Even beyond nyc prices at similar tiered fast casual coffee shops.
Nice relaxing spot for coffee and tasty breakfast and lunch dishes. Prices are high (like everywhere else these days), but the food is fresh, well-prepared and very high quality. Portions are large enough to take home half to have another meal. Pictured is the delicious French toast and peaches.
We were at a doctors appointment near by this location, I’ve seen it before but never went in. We tried it and it was very very nice! Design and the lighting and customer service. I loved the vibe and cookies! The hot chocolate and ice coffee was truly delicious. I’d highly recommend this place!
It was my first time at For Five Coffee. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in the right place for coffee and some yummy baked goods. As you can see from my pictures there's plenty of delicious items to choose from. It made for a difficult decision but, I managed to select 4 cookies, a bag of the house blend roasted coffee beans, and I enjoyed my salmon on toasted bread with cream cheese a poached egg, salmon roe, and side of arugula salad. As we sat outside to enjoy our late breakfast/early lunch. It was either the owner or manager of the café that came over to see how we were doing and how the things were going. Now, that's a nice touch. Did I mention he also took care of me inside and was super friendly. He must have know we weren't locals... He and the staff knew all the patrons that came in and ask each of them if they were having the usual. That's hospitality at its best. Continued success! We'll see you soon!
When my brother-in-law suggested a cafe for brunch, I was disappointed. I had an appetite the size of a hefty garbage can, which I knew wouldn't be placated with a few baked goods. But I'd made the silly mistake of underestimating the food offerings here at For Five Coffee. All my presumptions about 'mere' baked goods flew out the window when I stood in line by the tantalizing window of arrayed baked goods. I'm sure all the pictures testify - they're tantalizing. I spotted a spicy vodka rigatoni on the menu and my mouth watered, but I disappointedly figured they wouldn't have it available for an early brunch table. I was wrong there too. "We're serving everything on the menu right now!" quipped the man at the register, which of course meant I had to have it. And wouldn't you know it - it was the best vodka rigatoni I'd ever had, and it was at a cafe...at eleven in the morning. It was perfectly al dente, with a beautifully orange sauce and just enough flecks of chili flakes to start a lovely slow simmer of heat in the backdrop. Come for the cozy vibes, stay for the fulsome brunch offerings.
UPDATE: been here a few times again and I don’t think it’s worth coming unless you’re already in the area.. the coffee always comes out warm and after having it a few times it’s ok nothing special …the last time I went in we asked for coffee and a few pastries for dine in and they gave us everything to go.. seems like they cater towards certain people and their regulars. Also I got charged $4.50 for ONE snack size bag of chips! Insane price gauging. Doubt I’ll be back anytime soon. Original: It was love at first sight 😍. The variety of bakery items is enough to lure anybody in let alone the friendliness of staff, great coffee and aesthetic appeal . It’s everything you look for in a coffee shop. Prices are a little high but you can taste the quality/freshness in the items. Will definitely come back to try their lunch menu!
Food is great and the area is clean and nice. But drinks and food come out late most of the time. Workers are not so friendly and professional. They sometimes forget my orders and I don’t feel comfortable to ask for something they look upset. I recommend going to the one in Garden city.

A well rounded experience with exceptional service and attentive staff. The food is wonderful and drinks are delicious! The hot sake is a must. Best spicy shrimp I've had. The place is popular and loud, usually a 20 minute wait at dinner time, but th
