Foodhisattva - Vegan restaurant in Cleveland Heights - 2158 S Taylor Rd, USA

I can't say how much of a great experience this was! Probably one of the most flavorful restaurants in the Cleveland area within a reasonable price range. And though it is a vegan spot, they really have delicious entrees for any palate. We had hot ginger teas, the bbq wings, fire ramen, and the beet burger all for $40. Everything was so so delicious, the portions were perfect and I walked away full and happy. The owners were also super friendly while the staff was helpful and attentive.

You don’t come across vegan Asian fusion too often so I had to stop. Great service and great options for vegans. We started with the chickpea fries that were out of this world; Perfect texture and flavor. The bulgogi platter and the general tsos platter were both flavorful and fresh. A must stop if you’re in the Cleveland area.

This place is phenomenal! If you're vegan and haven't tried it, this will be your new favorite restaurant. If you think you hate vegan food, come anyways. Everything I've had here is flavorful, fresh, and filling: some dishes are vegan versions of popular meat-based foods (beef bulgogi, wings, chicken katsu), some are just uniquely delicious (Bangkok tacos, harvest bowl). Everything I've had is great, but my favorite so far are the tacos. A nice bonus is that the owners are close friends of Yo Yo Ma, and they have lots of fun stories about him! And they're just nice, cool people.

Have gotten take out a handful of times from Foodhisattva, but had my first dine-in experience there over Memorial Day Weekend. It was awesome!! Such a cute little spot and great service. My girlfriend and I shared the nachos as an appetizer. We got a small and it was PLENTY! And good! Looking forward to trying chickpea fries next time. As an entree, we both got the Cha Shao Bowls! I love soy curls so this entree is a favorite of mine. Plus, the rice is SOOO FREAKING GOOD! I would’ve gotten the ramen though if it was available (that’s my all time favorite!). To end, we split the mango cheesecake!!! Only complaint is that I wish it was bigger 😓💔 Oh! And to quench my thirst, I had ginger lemonade. I love ginger and lemonade, but if you aren’t keen on ginger, I’d stay away. It’s a powerful flavor but a delicious one 😋

The Cha Shao Bowl is one of my favorite meals in Cleveland! The soy curls are tender and have so much flavor, the vegan egg is so much fun, getting broccolini is a bonus, and their rice is just perfect. Last night, my girlfriend and I tried their nachos, which were ballpark style and pretty good. My girlfriend got and loved the ginger lemonade, but she says it packs a punch, so only order it if you like ginger. We also had AWESOME mango cheesecake. Customer service is great, too!

My husband and I are not vegan or vegetarian. We have been traveling, and that often comes with eating food that isn't always healthy. After a quick Google search of healthy food nearby, we decided to give this a try due to the high rating. We were blown away! Absolutely delicious! We ordered takeout and the process was very easy, plus the food was packaged well to eat at home. We got the bangkok tacos, harvest bowl, and chickpea fries. Everything was delicious and the flavors were off the charts. The sauce especially on both dishes was incredible. Plus both of us feel so much better after eating there compared to all our "on the road" stops. If we lived closer by I know this would become a regular stop!

Fantastic vegan food! The Korean tofu is the best item on the menu, but everything is good - I've tried it all. I can't recommend it enough. Eat here (and grab the seitan skewer as a side).

I love this place, the food is so flavorful! And the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I brought my bf who isn't vegan and he loved it, too. I have the Bangkok tacos, Foodhi Bánh Mì Salad and chickpea fries pictured. Those are my favorites along with the Thai tea - so far, I will keep trying more things on the menu!
