This location is just fantastic! It appears that they have lots of new faces, and still retain staff crew who have been there for over 20 years. Says alot for this location. They were super busy yesterday, everyone was working together with such great energy and appreciation for each other, as well for their customers. Keep ROARING!!!
We have shopped at the Food Lion on SW Cary Pkwy for 32 years. Over the last 2 years the operation of the store seems to have gone downhill. Too many boxes being loaded on shelves at heavy shopping times in narrow isles. To many food pickers getting in the way of shoppers, replaced real people for checkout to self check out. The few real person checkout lines were shortened where you can't load very many groceries and bag yourself. We have tried all the new changes, but we just do not like them .... we will start shopping somewhere else now.
Spent over $100 in groceries and no one would check me out as they stood there and watched. employees just sit around doing nothing when I ask for help. They told me they weren’t doing that right now.
Good store, fair prices, neat and clean. Server at deli counter needs service training, acted triggered by simplest of questions when cold cut cabinet was a mess and prices blocked.
I like this food lion market. Its worth visiting for me to shop groceries. I always find everything here. Although capacity and size is small it has expected groceries.Talking about hardware and automative things, it doesn't have good collection(very small sections) kind of expected by looking at size. But I would not recommend to not go here only for that reason. This shop is sufficient for your common day to day needs.
Your local food lion for south Cary. Produce is always fresh and doesn't spoil quickly (like the produce from a certain merchant named Joe), great sales on food staples, and the manager specials on meat are a huge discount. My ONLY gripe is the lack of locally roasted coffee - way too many boxes of the pod coffee, very little choice for whole bean.

As a Turkish person, I should say that you should visit the store if you are interested in Turkish snacks and cuisine! I read a lot of bad review about the owner and I think people misunderstood something. I am glad to visit here and find good stuff!
