Always Clean & stocked with great deal items, I'm never disappointed.
The only reason I go to this Food Lion is because it's close to my house. It is not very well-managed, especially in the produce department. Be sure to check your fruits and vegetables thoroughly before buying. I cannot count how many times I've found mold on the berries. Sometimes the cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, and other items are really soft and/or wrinkly. Most recently I bought a bag of salad on 10/27. When I got home, I saw that the guaranteed fresh date was 10/15, and the salad was slimy and inedible. Some of the employees there do not care, others are really nice. Prices are good. The meat department does a great job of keeping up with expiration dates. It is a little annoying how many times pallets are in the way and make pushing a shopping cart a bit like an obstacle course. Recently they have gotten much better at having enough cashiers to keep lines flowing smoothly. Overall, there are pros and cons to this store, but there is definitely room for improvement.
I visit often with my family to get our family dinner ingridients, especial Sunday after service. Fair price, neatness, and customer services attract my family to the store.
So thankful for the markdown on gluten free snacks!! Hopefully they won't ALL be discontinued lol
Always stocked and have a wide variety of goods evenif you don't find exactly what you want there is a replacement I do instacart there and I always have a good experience and they have clean rest rooms saved me a few times from a messy demise 😆
They do a really good job of keeping items stocked. The staff Is friendly majority of the time some staff seem like they having a bad day or don't want to be there but hey that's work. The bathrooms need to be cleaned more regularly they be disgusting . Frequent this location all the time and I be amazed at how many employees come in and out of the restroom at the entrance (female bathroom) and do not say ( hey can we get someone to service the restroom). Majority of the time you forced to use the handicap stall because all rest of them are nasty between urine and other fluids in the toilet on the floor it's filthy.
Cashier was all smiles with the person in-front of me and ignored me completely, smile dropped in all when I said hi, customer service should be equal to all not just the people you like. Hopefully management can teach them that.
