Food Hamati is a must-try for fans of Middle Eastern cuisine. We recently dined in and tried the mixed shawarma plate, gyro wrap, whole chicken, and kefta platter, and everything was outstanding. The shawarma was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the gyro wrap was generous and flavorful, the whole chicken was juicy and tender, and the kefta was flavorful and well-spiced. The accompanying sides of hummus, baba ghanoush, and rice were all delicious as well. In addition to the great food, Food Hamati also has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive and helpful, and they are always happy to make recommendations. We highly recommend Food Hamati to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Middle Eastern dining experience.

Delicious food, definitely our new favorite in the area! The bread was incredibly tasty, as was the sauce for the gyro and shawarma was perfect (and homemade)! Fries were very nicely seasoned, and the grape leaves were tasty. The dessert we tried was awesome as well! The owner is awesome and incredibly friendly. Definitely visit this place!!

Ok their shawarma, is theeee bomb! I’ve had shawarmas at many places over the years, but theirs is just simply the best. They don’t overcrowd with a lot of veggies and give less meat, they don’t give you the option to personalize (which is good, cause they know what they’re doing) and it’s not messy either! Other shawarma places don’t know how to wrap tightly or neatly. But these guys, so delicious. I was craving it one day soo bad, that I actually paid $20 for their shawarma delivery. Yes I know that’s crazy, but that’s the truth. Their other food items are good too. Love love love their fries!!! Very uniquely seasoned. Also their kababs, meat cubes, lamb and platters are great too. I tried their eggplant salad, but that was ummmm not what I was expecting. A little too oily, so I’d avoid that. This is by far my family's favorite middle eastern restaurant here in town. The food combined with the flavor is truly remarkable. Every bite is truly delicious and above all, Mohammed (the owner) goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience. I highly recommend this place whether you want to dine in or takeout.

This is small Mediterranean food joint. But everything here was so so so delicious! We had falafal, chicken shawarma warp and chicken kafta wrap! Everything was perfect but Kafta wrap was beyond that! That’s a must try dish here! I’m big fan of baklava but never found perfect one until I had from this place! Tried pistachio baklava and I’m going to stop there very soon for baklava! I would definitely recommend this place and we would soon return!

This is a tiny hidden gem of Mediterranean joint with delicious food served. Freshly prepared Falafel with the Tahini Sauce and Hummus will blow your taste buds with flavors. Half Chicken with Rice, Shawarma, Lamb Kebabs and Falafel is a very good start to try. Do not miss this place if u wish to try some Mediterranean style of tastes On Sawmill Rd. Hummus, Tahini Sauce, Shawarma, Kebabs, Cucumber Salads. Do not miss to Grab a bite of the world famous Baklawa.

What a find! The food here is fresh and fresh tasting beyond the norm. Whomever is responsible for the recipes and food prep should be paid triple. Just sayin’! Had the shawarma chicken wrap and, in spite of my trepidation from being disappointed by the last who-knows-how-many times at other restaurants, it was absolutely wonderful! I honestly don’t understand why there is not a line out the door at lunch time. Best chicken shawarma wrap I’ve had, best freshly-made sauce, best fries…I am dumbfounded. Looking for fresh, simple, healthy, perfect non-soda drink complements, and tasty, tasty, tasty? You found it! NOTE: during check-out, the owner bypassed the tip entry before I could pay. The meal was so good I went back to order a another meal and drinks just to leave an extra tip. My conscience would have bothered me for not leaving one after a meal like that. I think I found a regular!

Good food for a good price. We got the Chicken kefta plate and I liked it. The rice and the salad that came with the chicken was pretty good. The shawarma was good as well. A friend who got the beef kefta did not prefer it much as the meat was dry.
