Food Depot - Grocery store in Fort Valley - 2301 US-341, USA

I have to point out that this visit was a massive improvement from the last time I visited several years ago. The store was clean, organized, and stocked with items I needed. Much progress has occurred!

Always has good prices and, more often than not, has a high stock on items.

First time there. I was visiting my family in Fort Valley Georgia. Store is ok. I understand the reasoning behind the store but still sell fresh food. Some meats & lots of the fruit was suspect. Never saw salt pork used for seasoning, not refrigerated. The meat (salt pork) was old, turning color and shouldn't be sold. Chicken breast was gray looking. Helping the community with a grocery is great but still have respect for those who shop there.
