I think the folks at the Ukiah Food Bank do a great job! They may not always have a lot of power over what, & the quantities of what, the local private stores and businesses donations are. They do a wonderful job of distributing the supplies they receive, from local businesses and farmers, and from Redwood Food Bank. The facility is clean, well laid out, and the volunteers and staff are friendly, efficient, and very considerate. I am so very grateful for this food bank.
Perfect if your in a tight spot this month or even 2 times a month. Just to knock the cost of food down. Fresh fridays is the day to get there. Bring your own bags or box. Bring back your grocery bags from the other stores, they will gladly take them. Tons of oranges and apples rejects but there are good ones in there. Search for them.
They are supplying food to the less fortunate. God bless them and their altruistic mission.
Got low on food and thought hey why not...
I told her three people in the home. She added me to the system and gave me a small keychain card. I walked through. They were very nice. Not much to offer food wise. I think Ukiah might need a bit of help in my opinion. The smell of pinsole was very overwhelming.
This supposed food bank is worst resource for food I've been to. Even if your household is 6 to 10 members, they'll offer you one, can of mushroom soup, and that stands for anything else. They are NOT friendly except one chic dark haired, was pleasant. The attendants stand before the cans as guards and no real food to take home . They might have small bag of rice. They give abundantly rotten avocadoes . The ok thing I got was oranges. Oh, never accept raw meat, it stinks like dead carcass
. The worst I ever seen in my life is this stingy food bank
Nice place to get some free food if you can not afford it.
I think it would be pretty darn callous to rank an agency that distributes free food to the community at any level below 5. The Ukiah Food Bank continues to assist hungry people in the community with compassion and grace. Everyone is made to feel welcome and the food recipients are treated with dignity and generosity. The director of rhe food bank processes each patron and takes the time to ensure they have a clear understanding of the hours of operation and the frequency of visits they are allowed
This food bank gives out unbelievable amounts of food there's so much that goes to waste that they give you extra stuff it's one of the best food banks that I've ever gotten things from sometimes they have milk and dairy products in a box for you. Sometimes I leave there with several boxes of food for just one pickup and that's one time per week you could literally go there and fill up your entire cupboards and all of your cabinets within a couple of months time of collecting food stuffs from this food bank I suggest anyone who is low on funds to use this food bank if they fall within the financial bracket.
I've been using Ukiah Wireless for more than 10 years now, and I couldn't be happier with the service. My interconnect connection is excellent, even though I'm in a remote area that's difficult to reach. Customer service is outstanding. Problems are
From Sacramento, CA just drive up here in ukiah town. I tell you this. Great small town and very respectful community. Holey bagels are delicious. Small market. Chinese food. Boba waffles and if you and families are staying in town or swinging by. De
I had the pleasure of dining at Taco House, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The tacos were hands down the best I've ever had, and the warmth and friendliness of the owner added a delightful touch to the visit. If I were a local, I
Biggest redwoods of Mendocino County! It's off the beaten path, we drove around 50 minutes in from Mendocino city. The large redwood grove is a short quarter mile up a hill, but once you hit the valley it's absolutely gorgeous! There's a loop around

From the first visit to Yokayo Ranch, we knew that this was a special place. Rachel, the owner of Yokayo Ranch, was so warm and down-to-earth, and helped us visualize how each space throughout the ranch could be set up for our wedding weekend. Throug
