Food & Fire BBQ-Taphouse - Barbecue restaurant in Moosic - 7041 Shoppes Blvd, USA

Stopped to charge the car at the supercharger and decided to get some dinner and let the car charge the whole way. It worked perfectly. Normally we would stop for 15 min and continue the trip but we decided to get some dinner while the car charged to 100%. The restaurant was pretty empty, the service was fast and the food was pretty good.

The atmosphere was very friendly, welcoming, and clean. The waitress and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered my usual plain cheeseburger & fries with cheese sauce on the side. I was starving, so I ordered a few starters as well (I didn't get any photos). The fried crab sticks and sauce were so good! The dip was good. I also got Mac & cheese. I was not a fan of it. I like mine more creamy. This was baked and more dry. My burger I ordered medium well with little pink it was almost raw. I imagine if they cooked it properly, it would have tasted a lot better. My fiance ordered the pit burger with sweet potato fries and marshmallow sauce, which he said was phenomenal! He raved on about it! He ordered his burger medium well, and they got his right. He also ordered buffalo chicken dip and chips. It was absolutely delicious. I would go back for that and the atmosphere alone. I may try another burger and come back and rate it again, but at this point, I wouldn't be visiting frequently, if ever again? I guess we'll see.

I am in here every 2 weeks since moving to NEPA. The food, and I mean all the items on the menu are amazing. The beer list seems like a dictionary in size. Love the rustic feel of the seating area, and the staff has always been so helpful, accommodating, and gracious. If you are in the Poconos / Scranton / Wilkes Barre and loves BBQ. You'd be a fool to not come here.

This last visit was the best experience I've had here. Slocum Hollow at Montage was too busy, so we rolled down the mountain to check out Food and Fire. It wasn't busy. I love the large draft beer selection. I had an IPA that was new to me. I ordered the mountain burger with fries. The fries were so good I didn't finish the burger. The burger was massive. They have about 4+sauces on the table to try on your BBQ or fries. I'll be back soon!

Fantastic service and friendly staff. Too bad the food quality doesn’t match. The chicken was barely eatable, and the ribs were just ok. I had hoped to have brisket but they had none left. The cornbread however was some of the best I’ve had.

This is a mostly meat restaurant, but I had the beer battered haddock here and it was delicious. Large enough to take half home for a great lunch.

Great food especially my favorite cheeseburgers. Over 40 beers on top!!!!!! If you’re like to try different beers, it’s a definitely place for you

Great tasting food, perfect temperature steak, perfectly fried onion rings and fries. Service was excellent as well, really great spot.
