We had our wedding at The Fontainebleau Inn a few weeks ago. From the beginning, Terri and John were professional, attentive, and had a genuine desire to make our day as special as possible. They were very accommodating and their staff worked with our vendors to ensure that every aspect of the wedding was executed flawlessly. Also, being close to Watkins Glen and Ithaca allowed our guests to explore the Finger Lakes and provided additional activities throughout the weekend. Our ceremony took place against the backdrop of Cayuta Lake and the meticulously landscaped gardens provided a stunning background for our photographs. The combination of service, scenery, and venue made our wedding day an unforgettable experience!

We loved our wedding at Fontainebleau Inn. The venue was everything we could have hoped for and more! Our entire wedding party was able to stay with us Friday and Saturday night making the entire weekend feel so manageable and memorable. All of the accommodations made our weekend easy and every event run flawlessly. We are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to work with Terri and John to celebrate at this absolutely stunning property.

First visit was for a friends wedding Very scenic for photos inside and out Hors d’oeuvres and dinner were exceptional. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall wonderful experience for wedding venue.

We photographed a wedding here in 2022 and the entire place is perfection! We loved how well the window light filled each room, making for great photos! The grounds are full of greenery & flowers. The ceremony was down by the lake, making for the most beautiful background for the ceremony. The reception area is large and fits people comfortably. The space is also large enough to host a band, if you choose to go that route. We look forward to work here again in the future!

My wife and I got married at the Fontainebleau in July 2022, and it was the best decision we could have made! The Inn itself was truly beautiful, Terri & John were incredible hosts and the most helpful coordinators, and we had the perfect wedding. It was so nice to have the entire Inn to ourselves for the whole weekend. The breakfast served was a wonderful way to start each day. Day-of logistics were taken care of, and we ended up working with most folks on their preferred vendors list, which we couldn’t have been more thankful for. We swam in the lake each day we were there, shared incredible memories with family and friends that got to stay with us for the weekend, and would do it all again if we could. Thank you Terri and John for an unforgettable experience! If you are considering the Fontainebleau for your wedding, we can’t recommend it enough!

My son and daughter-in-law hosted their lovely wedding at the Fontainebleau Inn, since the area is so special and meaningful to them (they met at Ithaca College). ||||From a parent’s perspective, we could not have been more delighted with the entire event. Family and friends were indeed awestruck by the setting and remarked repeatedly how lovely it all was. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, from the flower gardens to the rolling lawn. The ambiance was both relaxed and private. The view from the inn toward the lake is stunning and it was the perfect location for their waterfront ceremony. ||||My son and his wife arranged all the details with the owners and I can surmise that the communication went well, because everything seemed perfect! Since the inn is so spacious, the wedding party was able to also room there for the wedding weekend. They had access to so many wonderful amenities and fully enjoyed the lead up to the wedding, with grilling, swimming, floating, kayaking and playing lawn games. They appeared to feel quite at home. ||||The reception hall and covered patio were charming and the kitchen, bedrooms, make-up room, bathrooms, library, etc. etc. were well appointed and nicely decorated to convey the antique style of the setting.||||Since Alpine is a bit of a drive from where guests were staying in Ithaca, a shuttle bus was easily arranged. One word of advice to guests: the waterfront is a downhill walk from the inn, so be sure to have stable footing or an arm to lean on. ||||All in all, Fontainebleau is a very special place for a very memorable wedding~

Beautiful venue!! An amazing view of the lake! This is definitely a great place for a wedding!
