Folk AF - Metaphysical supply store in Gadsden - 2111 Rainbow Dr Suite A, USA

This is such a nice, small shop. I went today (July 16, 2022) to the independent location in Rainbow City, AL. While the layout is a little odd, it can't really be helped, and once you get around that its a beautiful and neatly organized shop. They have a ramp outside for those needing that accessibility but that does feel a little crowded, and so does the hallway that leads to the back room which holds the shirts and some candles. Be mindful, I don't think a wheelchair would bode well in this store. Moving on, not only do they sell quality crystals, in addition to tarot, books, candles, herbs, and more, but they also have a tidy environment and it smells great while not being overpowering. I'm not sure if there's an available restroom for customers, there weren't any signs I saw clearly pointing one out. They utilize clear, readable labels on the crystals (which is what I went there to purchase) along with small descriptions of each crystal. They also gave me some small cards to take with me at checkout (for free! I didn't even have to ask!) that describe the crystal and name and they fit well inside the small pouches my purchased crystals were put in. I got six crystals, and so far I'm very happy with them. I also love that they openly support the LGBT+ community in their store and product. That's so refreshing. They are also LGBT+ owned! So rare to see in Alabama. My main concern is that the lovely person at the counter had their hand somewhat wrapped because it was healing from poison ivy (I asked). I wish them a speedy recovery, but it seems unsafe to have someone healing from poison ivy handling product. Beautiful store packed with everything you can think of. Owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and o so helpful. Anytime I'm in the area, I make sure to stop in with the intent to be a lookie-loo, but I always find something I absolutely can not live without! Large selection of crystals, books, herbs, tapestry, jewelry like the stunning larvikite ring I picked up today. The community is fourant to have such a wonderful business here.

Great meta shop! Friendly staff, very knowledgeable. The aesthetic is great, vibe is super cool. Nice selection of more rare items. I love the herb bar!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STORE!!! today was my first time shopping at Folk AF. I had heard about it from a customer where I work; when I asked them about their beautiful piece of jewelry they were wearing. Over an hour away in Cedartown GA. Anyway the selection of candles, herbs, tarot decks, literature, tapestry's, jewelry, and crystals is a metaphysical paradise! Stephanie and the young man who helped me pick out my new deck were amazing, however I didnt get his name.To put the icing on the cake when I got home and realized my tarot deck was missing two cards (manufactures fault not their's) Stephanie immediately found replacements and offered to ship them to me at no cost. I've been in sales for over a decade; I was highly impressed, and will certainly be back!

(Review for main location.) Besides all of the great products at great prices, this store is very clean and super well organized. You can tell they put their soul into it! I came in looking for very particular items set in mind, and they had them all. Friendliest staff, who was also very kind to my child and didn’t seem annoyed that I had a small child shopping with me (as many do at most stores in my experience). Loved my first time there today! My daughter and I will definitely be back :)

I love this place (both locations). The people, the atmosphere. They are never pushy but will always help you if they can (or point in a directionfor help). Nicest people. The store is always clean and smells amazing. Favorite store by far. I always find something I want or need. I cannot say enough good things about it.

The energy feels so welcoming. It always smells of incense, and the staff is very kind. I enjoy coming in alone, and conversing with the staff members/ owners :)
