I love it! I've gone twice; once a few years ago and once this summer. It's not super overwhelming, you can do as much or as little as you want. The "kids" areas are also fun for teens who want to be kids again. The bookstore is great and has something for everyone! When I went with family, we did the kids radio thing and our episode turned out great!

Great place to bring your kids, especially if they're familiar with Adventures in Odyssey. My kids, from 7-20, had a great time. Getting ice cream like Wooten at Whit's End was a special treat. Our kids also were able to make there own mini version of Adventures in Odyssey.

Free - It’s a great safe place to take the family. It’s indoors and out of the elements which is nice. Whether your kids are familiar with Adventure in Odyssey or not they’ll enjoy all the play areas. It’s like a children’s museum. There are areas for younger tots and even free party rooms along with an adjoining bookstore. The food prices looked good - cheaper then McDs and they still have a $1 kiddy cone. You are free to roam freely which means you are also in charge of your own kids. I wasn’t bothered by the kids running amuck, but for those previous reviews, if an older kid finds a way into the toddler zone take the initiative to ask them to leave or get a worker to do it for you. The people seemed nice and responded well to questions. My kids loved making a real recording of them to take home. It was a great experience.

This is a very family friendly. If you do not know what Focus on the Family, is a Christian organization, with an emphasis on the family and family values. This is their main office, and the visitor center has all kinds of information about families. The building also has a 3 story slide for anyone tall enough, my guess is 36" tall. (It's just a line on the wall you have to be taller than.) On the lower level is an indoor play area for the kids, and Whit's End, soda shop. They have great prices, and good soda shop like foods. Everyone who works here is super friendly. If you are in town this is a great place to visit.

Amazing experience! On a whim we decided to visit here because as a kid I enjoyed listening to Adventures in Odyssey. My kids have listened to Paws & Tails but not a lot of Odyssey yet. I thought it looked cute and was thinking we’d spend an hour here. We spent 4 hours here and if we hadn’t been meeting up with someone later we would have spent the whole day here. It’s simply magical: from the background music, themed rooms, friendly staff and food. Every aspect is planned to be better than good, but great. My kids had ice cream cones and the employee offered to put sprinkles on their cones. At the bottom of the 3 story slide the kids were greeted with an employee that smiled at them. We recorded an episode of Adventures in Odyssey and my kids loved that! The employee at that station explained how she would edit out any mistakes they might make and just to try again. This made my kids feel at ease and they loved the experience! They’ve already listened to their recording several times. The employees at the front welcomed us so warmly. It truly felt as if the employees love working there and genuinely value their guests. We are visiting from out of state (WI) and have already done some amazing hikes in the mountains and other fun things but this has been my kids (and ours) one of our favorite activities. We plan on visiting again at least once but hoping for twice more before we leave Colorado Springs. Thank you so much!

Great family fun that brings all those Adventures in Odyssey episodes to life! As a bible reader and someone who desires to follow Jesus in this life God has given us Focus on the Family has always been an inspiration. Their bold stand for the truth of God's Word and fight to preserve the family as created and instituted by God have brought me courage over the years and I am thankful to God for their obedience. Psalm 33:11 “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.” His Word is Timeless and His Promises are Everlasting!

Such a fun place to bring kids! It’s so nice that it’s free of charge. The giant slide was a huge hit with our family. Also thought it was nice that they had ice cream, shakes, etc for such a reasonable price. I enjoyed browsing through the book store too.

Focus on the Family is our new favorite place to take our little one for indoor play. This is especially convenient when it’s cold and windy during the winter months. Not to mention—it’s free!

My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didn’t get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
