Fm Pizza Oven - Restaurant in Melbourne - 1437 Highland Ave, USA

The location is a converted bank, a perfect setting for the massive wood fired oven. The BLT pizza was perfectly done. It took a little while for pizza to come out. Typically, I am casual with the timeframe, but the restaurant was hardly packed only a half a dozen tables. I would definitely return and try other pizzas and items on the menu.

Loved their pizza! I had the gluten-free crust and it was so good! Their wine selection is also great and reasonably priced.

Went to this pizza place off recommendation from a friend who said their pizza was amazing. Came here on a Saturday night and my friend suggested that we get the pizza to go but we were told it would would have taken 15-20 minutes for a pizza so we decided to sit in. We waited for about 35 minutes before we decided to ask our waitress if the pizza was cooked yet and they had said it was in the oven and it would be out in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we got the pizza, burnt. The cook was kind enough to offer another pizza on the house on her fault but we figured the wait would have been…more than we waited the first time. Granted, it was a Saturday night and it could be hectic for a chef, I figured the cook would have been capable of making sure a pizza wouldn’t burn to a crisp. Me personally, crust is one of my favorite parts of the pizza but in this case, the picture below will represent what my overall opinion is at FM pizza.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! Everything about FM Pizza makes for a great night out! The food is 5-star delicious! The ambiance & atmosphere is so welcoming and the staff are the best!! I recommend the meatballs for a starter, and the mushroom pizza is phenomenal!!

The pizza base/crust is actually decent however the toppings of the pepperoni was overall too salty. Too much seasoning on top of a sauce that is itself well seasoned, then the pepperoni.. It may be the best in Melbourne but makes me miss NYC... And for whoever decided to grill a Cesar salad, may I remind you of that Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares episode?

Thin crust borderline burnt. Had the wild mushroom pie. Salty and chewy cheese. No real flavour. It was trivia night so LOUD! Slow service. No choice of gin. There must be a better alternative around!

Enjoyed the meat pot pie. It was very good Cozy atmosphere. One if our orders was mistakenly given to somebody else. We received an apology and had to eat separately. Understand that mistakes can happen but it would have been nice to have been offered even a small consolation.

I'm not very fond of pizza, but this place has excellent, tasty other options, such as the giant meatballs and more. The atmosphere is excellent for small groups or large groups. They're very accommodating.
