Do NOT stay here. I am covered in bed bug bites. The room is disgustingly dirty. The shower has mysterious stains in the tub and the carpets were filthy. I know it’s cheap but you will be in a room infested with bed bugs. The photos attached are my bite marks and the stained sheets from the bed bugs.
I just stayed there last week for 3 nights (April 16-18) in room 805 and was very satisfied with 1st: the cleanliness of the lobby and professional staff. A young lady in the afternoon was at the front desk, I believe her name was Jazmine - she was very nice and welcoming.
The room wasn't very large but a nice cozy moderate size, and though the carpeting was an old style and there were slight wall paper peelings - the room and bathroom were super clean with a nice small suppy of wash clothes, towels, soap and shampoos
& there were no overwhelming bad smells of any kind.
The bed, a small King or Queen, was not very soft but firm with nice fluffy pillows, bed sheets and blanked and I rested well each night. The air conditioner worked as did the heat - with a nice size flat screen t.v. with Roku & local channels.
Yes I would recommend it for a person on a moderate budget - and I look forward to coming back there again - 👍👍 Mr. E.
Flushing Central Hotel offers a no-frills accommodation option for those seeking a place to rest their head in the bustling neighborhood of Flushing. While the room is basic and provides a comfortable enough space to sleep in, there are certainly areas that could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.
One drawback that stood out was the cleanliness of the water boiler, which I found to be subpar. I would recommend avoiding its use and opting for other beverage options during your stay.
Additionally, I noticed that the rug floor in the room seemed a bit moldy, which could be a turn-off for guests with sensitivities or preferences for a cleaner environment. Bringing your own slippers to wear indoors is advised to ensure a more comfortable stay.
With a bit of attention to detail and a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards, Flushing Central Hotel has the potential to elevate its offering and provide a more pleasant experience for guests. Addressing issues such as the water boiler cleanliness and moldy flooring could significantly improve the overall quality of the stay and make this hotel a more appealing choice for visitors to Flushing.
Very accommodating staff, on top of everything. Solid room and location.
I had a positive experience at this hotel. It was neat, clean and affordable! The young lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful. Parking was a challenge, but that's NY for you! Other than that, I'd definitely return. I'm also appreciative that they were BIPOC friendly 🤎🖤💛
Its old but gold. I had absolutely no bad experience here. It was clean, it was quiet, it was comfortable. Yes, the room is very old, the wallpaper is peeling, but that didn’t mean that the actual hotel itself was dirty. The bed was extremely clean there was no smells, it was just simply old. It was also very good neighborhood. My first time in New York and I plan to stay at this hotel everytime cause it’s good area.
No problems staying here, it was great for the price. Center of a lot of amazing places to eat and/or drink. No parking nearby, maybe 5mins of a walk if you're lucky. I parked in MPG Parking, do it online and it'll be cheaper. It was about a 6 minute walk.
The service and location are great, but the bed is too hard!
We loved everything about this hotel. The room, the location, the staff. If ever back in NYC, we definitely come here again. It's a 45-50 minutes metro ride to the city center. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. There are shops and resta
