Flounder's Chowder House - Seafood restaurant in Gulf Breeze - 800 Quietwater Beach Rd, USA

Flounders has a lot of Boats in the restaurant, very cool. We ate a late lunch there & despite the number of people there we were seated right away. We shared a bottle of Chardonnay with our lunch. My husband got a burger with fries & I had a chicken sandwich with no bun. Both of these were very good. Great service for how busy it was.

Appetizers: Fried dill pickles & Firecracker Shrimp…Delicious. Sweet Tea was good. Nice atmosphere. I had a grilled chicken sandwich (can’t remember name) & my husband had steak burger topped with seafood & cheese (can’t remember the name). Both were amazing!

We are so glad Flounder's was recommended to us! Everything was excellent. We got on the wait list and arrived early, which was great because we could enjoy the bars, playground, fire pit, and sitting area. Therion was excellent- he provided fantastic service and even recommended some other places to visit during our stay in town. Our meals were wonderful, and the portions were massive, so we had to take some back with us. Overall outstanding experience and we can't wait to be back!!

We enjoyed our meal and the experience. Brett was incredible and took great care of us. The food came out pretty quickly despite the crowd. The teens enjoyed volleyball and exploring the property. The adults enjoyed their adult beverages. 😂 We'll definitely be back when we're in town!

Stopped by for some drinks. Enjoyable environment. If you go during the summer, be prepared for it to be crowded. This is a popular dining destination. If you come with just your spouse, I recommend sitting at the bar...no wait if there are seats available.

Our waitress Alexa was phenomenal! We had adult bevs: Margarita & Diesel fuel (traditional) YUMMY for both. We chose the calamari for an appetizer, delicious! We both chose the stuffed Flounder for entree...OH MY WORD it was absolutely incredible! OUTSTANDING service, food, & drinks. In my opinion & out of the many places I've eaten in Florida, this place beat every place I've ate a meal at. We will be back. Thank you!

The coconut shrimp was VERY good! The salmon I got was just ok. I think it was a little too spicy for me. I wasn't expecting that. If you like spicy- you would be fine. I wasn't expecting bourbon glazed to be very spicy. The potatoes were good. My son liked his pasta. I let the waitress know about severe allergies before ordering but she said they don't really do anything for that. So that's why I gave service a 4. All the other restaurants in Pensacola did awesome with food allergies. I was a little shocked by her answer before we ordered. So if you have food allergies- maybe ask for a manager & see if they are more accommodating. Great atmosphere. I loved the live music! Great volleyball set up & incredible view! I definitely will be back here!!!

The best thing about this place is that it's on the beach. Food- Mediocre. For the price the quality should be much better. Ordered the Coconut Shrimp which was overcooked. Chicken Tenders were ok, baja fish Tacos and chicken Alfredo were average at best. Service- Our waiter was hardworking, a gentleman and did check up on us a few times to make sure we got everything we needed. Atmosphere- It's busy so won't be a quiet place to dine. Lots of kids (as expected on the beach). Not sure if they allow reservations but if they do, make a reservation in advance. The decor inside is unique as you have old trolling motors and canoes hanging above your head. 😄 Overall average experience.
