This little gem has so much charm and is a taste of old Florida in the best way! The owner Isabella made me and my family feel like we were so so welcome . Her personal touch on the place is unmatchable. Don’t waste your money on an overly priced generic hotel ,enjoy a taste of real old world Florida with personal hospitality that you won’t find a match for this great price…right across the street from the beach!

Upon arrival, and up until my departure, I was immediately charmed by the friendly, helpful, down to earth couple that manage the motel. The eclectic, coastal atmosphere of the grounds was very condusive to relaxation. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the kitchenette accomodating. The nearby area was surrounded by nature with walking trails, the ocean just across the street and plenty of seafood restaurants. I can't wait to return!

The Floridana hotel was an excellent stay within walking distance to the beach. Earnie and Isa were amazing hosts and go out of their way to offer local recommendations and make you feel at home. The perfect place for a short or long term get a way!

It was a first time stay in this boutique motel that will take you back in time. Extremely clean, comfortable, and the owners seemed just like family.! A great place for quiet and reflection time with the beach just across the road. Fishermen would love it as there was a cleaning station outside. The owners, Iza and Ernest, gave us a coupon for an Italian place a short distance down the road called D'Angelo's, and it was excellent. A quaint place with seating for only 24 with 5 star service as well. We will definitely come back to stay at Floridana Beach Motel and visit our friends.

We stayed for several years at a lovely motel in Melbourne beach but the new owners have tripled the rate and it no longer looks like the cute mom and pop motels that used to dominate Florida. ||||This was our first year at Floridana and we will definitely be back. The motel is only 5 rooms but perfect for us. Some rooms have a kitchen with a clean full refrigerator and clean stove. They also supply some dishes and silverware. The bathroom is a descent size with a five star shower with good water pressure. The beds were comfortable and we slept like babies especially with the sound of the ocean even though across the street.||||The best part of our stay were the owners Ernie and Isa. Ernie was very funny and very accommodating. Isa is a very talented artist and yoga instructor. Ernie bought a charcoal grill for us to use and a fire pit that we could sit around at in the evening and socialize with him and his lovely wife and other guests. Also we loved that he did not allow smokers either in the rooms or on the property so the rooms had a nice clean smell and were kept extremely clean. There is also a cleaning station for fisherman which came in handy since Rob loves to fish everyday. We come to Melbourne by plane every year and Ernie was kind enough to lend us chairs to take on the beach plus a fishing bucket. ||||We now consider Ernie and Isa our friends for life. For a pleasant stay and a taste of Florida Americana we would highly recommend Floridana motel. ||Susan and Rob

We stayed here for one night as we rode bikes from Cocoa Beach to Ft Pierce. This hotel is like a trip back in time. ||The room was small, but clean, had ice-cold AC, and very quiet. The owner was very nice an accommodating. The husband fished in the ocean using the community access point and I took a long nap. ||||there is a convenience store one block south with a Subway and other snacks. We will be back!

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Sebastian Inlet and stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. Had a wonderful time. The owners, Ernest and Isa are a wonderful couple and provided anything else that we needed. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or fishing trip.

My son's and I had an abrupt change in plans (Airbnb cancellation snafu) and found the Floridana on a whim. Ernie could not have been more pleasant, gracious, fun or accommodating. It's a place with a cool, casual 50's vibe. The owners live here and enjoy their guests. Don't come looking for posh, stuffy beach accomodations. Come to casually connect with other guests, get sandy and enjoy the beach.
