This park offers a calm environment experience. They have a public restroom, a playground for children, and a picnic area. There's plenty of parking spaces. This park is patrolled and monitored by a Park Ranger. Great for walks. You will definitely see lots of squirrels. You will also appreciate lots of beautiful trees .
Pretty standard park. Playground, picnic tables, lots of trees for shade. Unfortunately it’s not the most beautiful place; the grass is dead and there is some graffiti on the structures. But it is sufficient for a nice picnic lunch. There is plenty of parking available. There are many parties going on during this Saturday morning & it looks like each area can accommodate large numbers of people.
It’s an older park that is great for a walk while watching the birds and other critters. The small playground is nicely equipped and there are several rentable group picnic areas. The park is overrun with ground squirrels that lots of folks enjoy watching. Unfortunately they ARE ground squirrels and have dug burrows all around. That makes the baseball field hazardous to run on as well as damaging other grassy areas. There is a plan in place to update and modernize the facility in the future.

Everything is dead and brown if not just dirt, but for hundreds of ground squirrels EVERYWHERE.
If you are into that, I highly recommend checking it out. It is quite a trip!
Nice park with fairly clean restrooms. Sadly no pets allowed in this park. Still there's a couple volleyball courts, a playground, some picnic tables that are nice for gatherings. It's also nice for taking walks under the large trees spread throughout the park.
I was born & raised here & i use to come here alot as a Child & Teenager, but it has been many years since i've been to Flood Park. It is still beautiful as ever!, but why was the Swimming Pool removed? I very truly wish the Pool would be put back.
But the Picnic Areas were beautiful, the
A large open space park and a bicycle track are the highlights.
Quaint, relaxed park with great amenities & a cute library in the heart of Menlo Park, make sure to drop by if you're in town and have some free time :)
Lovely neighborhood park for young kids and dogs to roam around. Decent play structures, and a large dog park separated by fences make it safe for families of all sizes and shapes. Tree cover makes it comfortable during the summer months. Overall, it
