The service was phenomenal. The lady who seated us was very nice and helpful. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, as well as the Midwest steak skillet with pancakes. The food was brought out relatively quickly. It's a great place to go for breakfast/lunch/brunch and we will definitely go again sometime. W restaraunt.
Great food, it came out fast and it was hot and fresh. The fries & potatoes are cooked to perfection, nice and crispy and soft in the middle. The pancakes are light and fluffy, and so delicious. From now on, when I think about the perfect breakfast I'll think of Flips in Davenport!
Flips is one of the best places to get breakfast or lunch. I had the Ranch Chicken & Bacon Sandwich with Mozzarella Cheese and a bowl of fruit. Both were wonderful. Will be definitely returning.
Passing thru on I-80 & did a Google search for breakfast locations. This seemed interesting as the review mentioned fresh farm to table style food. It's located in what looks like a newer development of commercial & retail businesses. Several restaurants, bars & shops as well as a huge Fitness Sports Complex nearby. It's bright & airy inside. The Avacado bacon Omlette was delicious!!! Fresh fruit, not canned and the bread was thick & flavorful. The coffee...delicious too. I even managed to buy some coffee packets to take home. 😋
Service was excellent. Menu is unique; not your typical breakfast fare. Food preparation is top shelf. Great place to take the family. If all you want is eggs bacon and toast, go to Denny's. If you want an experience, go to Flips.
It looks so good but it's a trap the pancakes have no flavor...i can make better at home outta a box. I was really excited to try this place after all the hype but really disappointed when my cookies on my pancakes were stale and the pancakes have no flavor. Even worse when I told my server you could hear all the other servers laughing and making comments in back. Ladies have a touch of class and talk about your customers where they cant hear you they are the ones who pay your bills. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else!
One of the best places to have breakfast in the Quad Cities. It was packed when we arrived but it didn't take them long to seat us. The food is tasty. We had eggs skillet, pancakes and crepes. The eggs skillet was the best. Every thing we ordered was amazing. The servers were quick, friendly and courteous. I loved this place.
We had lots of different meals as it is our first time here. And EVERYTHING is soooo good!! The place is decorated so cool! Love wallpaper in the girls bathroom. So fun to have such a classy place for breakfast! Nicly done!
