Wow, this museum exceeded my expectations! You can learn more about the history of airplanes and see the planes to scale. In fact, you can see the clothes that people from many years that worked in the pilots used. And for Barbie fans there is an area of her facet as a pilot and her accessories. Being here is a beautiful experience for children and aviation lovers!
Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff and a great way to spend the afternoon. Free parking is available, however it is difficult to access without a car. A big collection of aviation related memorabilia, with many aircraft models and informative and interactive displays to see, as well as collections of old crew uniforms. A great view out onto the LAX apron by the freighter terminal, as well as access to ATC transmissions and a beautiful old DC3. A must visit if you have some time around LAX and have an interest in aviation.
What an amazing place. The entire history of LAX and what appears to be a sample of every stewardes uniform is on display along with an outstanding history off how LAX evolved over the years and some very informative information about its future. Well worth a visit and you can see all sorts of runway activities. I got to see the airport police doing a dog training with a cargo jet parked right outside the museum.
Amazing museum with great history on LAX and aviation. DC3 in the lot but it's not in great condition, not because the museum staff don't want to do anything. Lots of uniforms everywhere from way back. Also have an amazing view of the airfield with live radio scanner. If you have specific historical items you want to buy you might be able to ask Patrick if they have it.
Museum is small but has a great variety of very interesting artifacts! The staff was also very friendly and informative. They also let us take a quick look inside one of their vintage aircrafts. I like the fact that the museum is actually inside the runway so you can see all the planes taking off and landing just within a few feet away from you. I will be definitely be coming here again!
I am so glad I found this museum! The staff are wonderful and gave us a great guided tour of the museum. There is so much history here!! There are lots of great small exhibits on the history of aviation, lots of artifacts and fantastic views of the runway. If you get a chance, check out the old plane they have outside. I can not wait to come for my next visit!
Fascinating, fantastic, and fun Museum on airplane travel that is family friendly. Step back in time when air travel was a pleasure and full of wonderful service. See all the lovely designer Airline steward clothing and paraphernalia that was available to clients in the past. Many model aircraft displays depicting the history of Passenger flights. An informative display on space travel was a delightful surprise. The staff was very well informed and fun to talk to. Flight simulators are available to students which is super cool! My suggestions to help Museum are..... 1. Advertise! Advertise! Advertise! 2. Get in on the tourist brochures.... Like the El Segundo map guide or other tourist oriented Maps or pamphlets. Get a pamphlet out to all of the airport terminals, hotels and restaurants that have tourist displays or boards. I also recommend you to check them out so you know what people look for. Offer a coupon to attract visitors, tourist always like to save money, even if it is on a donation basis. 3. See if LAX airport can put in a small display to attract visitors to your Museum, and have a shuttle available for passengers that arrived in the airport to visit the museum. This will make easier access for people who do not have cars or have a short stay. 4. Get in touch with other small museums like the Automobile Driving Museum (ADM). Learn how they make their museums work in terms of getting donations at the door (the ADM is very good at this). You can also form a partnership with them for dual attraction tickets. Find ways to help each other out! 5. Get a flashier sign out front so people know you're there. It's kind of hidden. Perhaps one at each Street entrance to the museum. Best of Luck!💜
A terrific look at the airline industry and the people behind it. Highly recommended for anyone interested in civil aviation and the history of LAX. Be sure to go out and go aboard the DC-3 too!

Visiting "Nashville Delights" was an unexpectedly authentic journey to the heart of Tennessee, just a stone's throw away from Hollywood Boulevard. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported to a cozy Nashville eatery. The Tennessee hot chicken?
