This happened back in summer of 2013. I had post an ad with my resume in the Seattle area. I was (and still is) living in Kansas City area. Yes, they knew where I live, have no money, unemployed and can't afford to move.
They responded to my Craigslist ad. They wanted to interview me for a Game Tester job they had down there. There was a big catch, they wanted me to fly over to Redmond Washington (at the time it would have been about $650+ for the flight, 1 overnight stay at a hotel, and a car rental) for the interview.
I kindly let them know that I don't have the money to do so. I had asked them is it possible to do some kind of a Video Conference Call. They replied back "No". They had also told me the next time I am in the area, give them a call so we can do the interview.

Keep in mind that they contacted me 1st.
Since then.
I have been emailing them on and off again over the last 3 years.
They have not responded to any emails.
I still have no money, found a job, laid off 9 months later, still unemployed.

This company is so disorganized, upon being offered a job at one of their clients I was told I would be contacted with a starting date. Well that date came and went by many times over. I had to ask my previous employer to allow me to leave without a 2 week notice. Fortunately, I was allowed to leave or I would have to wait another 6 weeks to start work at the job.
Dealing with HR is very dismal to say the least, someone is either on vacation that week to answer any questions you may have and that person is the only person in the office that seems to work in HR. My health insurance was due to take effect 4-1-2016 and I had to call Premera Blue Cross to obtain a health insurance card. Come to find out the mailing address that was on file was in a totally different apartment building from the one I live in. The phone is never answered as it goes straight to voicemail.
I would give them no stars but I had to click on a star in order to post this review.
First of all Chris is kinda lie to employees, just to make couple dollars by ripping off every dollar he can get... It's kind of embarrassing on his behalf, that when he says anything he things other person is retard and don't understand what 'BS' is...! If you deal with these people, get everything in writing very clearly, and do not trust a singe word Chris says, unless everything is emailed by him and signed. And with all means, do not start working unless you are very clear about the contract.
They said they will raise pay rate for employees couple months ago, now they still pay way less than any other contracting companies for same position.. You guys just setting yourself for trouble, because people will just run off from you, so either way you will lose !
This company is kind of a joke. They'll bring you in for an "interview", ask you simple questions like what is a bug. Was offered a job once and then never heard from them again. If you're looking you get your foot in the door somewhere, then this place is not for you. Never been in such an unprofessional environment like this one.
Over the course of many dealings with FleXasoft, I have found them to be a less than honest company that should be avoided at all costs.
They do not operate with integrity, or any degree of professionalism. Countless times they failed to follow through with necessary calls or emails which were crucial to our operations together. After visits to their work space, it was plain to see they do not take their jobs seriously; employees were disorganized, unmotivated, and churlish toward each other and guests.
After continued interactions with them, it came to my attention that Flexasoft also has considerable problems with infighting. That only exasperated troubles already present within the company; for example, their deceptive dealings were made worse (and more consequential) by the selfishly competitive nature of their work environment.
I highly recommend they be avoided in favor of better options. To operate in agreement with them is to promote fraudulence in an industry that does not need duplicity, as well as to put one's information at risk in an insecure environment.
Flexasoft is a great way to get your start in the video game industry. Kris did a good job in explaining what the job requires and that it is not just "playing video games." It can take some time for the initial hours to start, but once they do, they keep coming as long as you are productive and professional. All in all, it was a great experience. Kris was very helpful and communicative. I recommend Flexasoft for anyone who wants to take video games seriously and help make them better. P.S. take the NDA seriously, the entire industry does.
Helpful staff member by the name of Chris has been extremely helpful and patient with his employees. You're doing a great job Chris, keep it up.

Well, at least they give you a job. That said, I'd recommend checking out other contracting agencies before this one, as I've been burned by Flexasoft's lax business practices before.
