We spent a night here on our way from norther CA to Tucson. What a great choice! The hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable. They have snacks and a free welcome glass of rosé. The room was so nicely decorated and well equipped. The a/c works very well. The pillows and beds were super comfortable. Location was good, there are at least 5 restaurants within walking distance. I would stay again!

Love the pantry, what a great touch to have drinks and snacks available all day. Rooms are cozy with perfect little kitchenette area that allows for two desk areas for remote workers. The WiFi is solid and strong. Staff is invisible but present and around when needed. I liked that. Location is just a wee (a short car ride, long walk) from the center of town but with great diner (Ricks), 7-11, burger place and ice cream shop all within quick walk, it makes for a good outpost. Definitely recommend and would return.

This adult-only hotel with floral art on every building is visually delightful. With bungalows (including refrig) facing a pretty pool or around an outdoor courtyard, it has a lovely calm atmosphere and pleasant French music playing during business hours. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. A patron pantry, stocked with breakfast items and beverages, is open all day. The atmosphere is delightfully unlike that of a major hotel. It's warm and inviting, a great get-away not far from the airport.

I was going to leave a 5 star review but sadly theft was involved. The location is great, it’s a very cute chic boutique and staff is friendly! BUT I left my hair straightener on the sink because I used it in the morning and forgot to pack it because I wanted it to cool down first. Within 15 minutes of leaving I reached out and asked them to check and they confirmed it wasn’t there. I pulled over and checked my luggage’s and it wasn’t there. Where could it have gone? We went straight from the room to the car which was about 20 steps away. Saddened by the cleaning staff lying unfortunately. Will not be recommending or coming back.

We had a fantastic time at Fleur Noire this past March. Located in the north of Palm Springs at the southwest corner the intersection of N Indian Canyon Drive and E Vista Chino. It was but a short drive down Canyon Drive to downtown Palm Springs. It was a longer drive to the Indian Wells Tennis Center; watching the BNP Paribas tennis tournament was one of the reasons for our visit to Palm Springs. ||A sensor-operated sliding gate controlled entry to the parking lot. There were just enough parking slots for the guests; when we got back late after a night session the tennis tournament there was just one slot left for us. Entry to the hotel grounds proper required a||Fleur Noire is a boutique hotel with a whimsical mix of architectural and interior design. Bungalows and casitas are arranged around a couple of courtyards. The larger courtyard features the pool and clubhouse. The rosé and champagne bar, La Boisson, opens into the alley connecting the two courtyards. The casitas and bungalows have Spanish-style red tile roofs. We booked a suite which was generally spacious as implied. There was a small kitchen with a 2-person breakfast table. The Frigidaire was useful to keep water and fruit chilly. The furniture was mid-20th Century in design. We appreciated the quirky flamingo and peacock lamp stands. There was no central A/C, a standalone unit cooled the room. The bedroom was roomy. There was built-in closet with two long clothing hanging rods; there was definitely enough room to hang clothes. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Traffic noise did not seem to penetrate through to our casita. The bathroom, however, was a little disappointing. It was small. The shower stall Shower curtains did not overlap enough to prevent water from spraying out onto the floor. The water pressure and hot water were adequate. ||Breakfast was a self-serve affair. Brewed coffee, croissants, milk, cereal, fresh fruit was available in a small kitchen just off the clubhouse. We would have breakfast outside, sitting by a fire pit when it got a little chilly. We would have either a sundowner / nightcap of rose or beer outside as well, relaxing in the calm of our surroundings.||The clubhouse had books and games available. The staff would arrange the free bike rentals, something we saw other guests make use of. ||We did not take advantage of the pool. The water did feel warm to the touch. Many of our fellow guests did relax in the loungers surrounding the pool. There were not kids; this was an adults-only establishment, guests having to be 21 and older. ||The grounds lived up to the pictures. Large floral wall murals adorned just about every building. Fire pits provided oases of warmth in the cool desert nights. There were different cacti, yucca, Mexican palm and Palo verde trees planted around the grounds. The Palo verde has a unique adaptation to life in the desert; it will shed its leaves in times of drought but the green branches and trunk are able to carry on with photosynthesis even in the absence of leaves. ||We appreciated the water-saving xeriscaping that Fleur Noire utilized for landscaping. Not only are green lawns inappropriate for the desert but, regardless of recent snowy winters replenishing the snow pack of the Sierras, water usage should be made as efficient as possible.||Nesting hummingbirds were a welcome bonus for us birders. We spotted Anna’s and Costa’s hummingbirds on the property, nesting in the Palo verde. ||Speaking of snow-capped mountains the snow-dusted peaks of the San Jacinto mountain range could be seen from the hotel. ||We definitely recommend considering Fleur Noire for a unique stay in Palm Springs

One block off the main street of Palm Springs, Palm Canyon Dr, is this quaint, French style little motel. It's been completely refurbished from its humble beginnings into an oasis right in the heart of this busy city. The staff is extraordinary. Every detail is covered. Complimentary continental breakfast, snacks, sodas, fruit, yogurt, coffee and more, offered from 7am-10pm. Bicycles for roaming around town are included in your stay, along with a beautiful pool, cornhole games, multiple fire pits, and lots of outdoor seating. Rooms have everything you need, including a bed that was overly comfortable (if that's even possible!!). We'll definitely be back.

I read reviews from several hotels, wanting something that was not the run of the mill hotel chain. This hotel is adorned from the 50 and 60’s, clean, quaint and the pool was literally steps from our room door. The property is gated with a code, which was a good security measure. There were outdoor games,a clubhouse with books and a kitchen area that was stocked with drinks and snacks. A full bar was available. The room was clean and large, with a kitchen and nice bathroom. The staff was wonderful, rooms were refreshed daily. I recommend this hotel.

Quiet retreat in the middle of town. Cute ambiance and nice pool. Several great photos ops here, especially nice for a girls trip. The room is nice, though the beds are a bit small to share and the shower in the bathroom could stand to be twice as big. Like it enough I would return even with all the options in Palm Springs.
