Fleur De Lis Mansion Bed and Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in New Orleans - 1216 Annunciation St, USA

We stayed in late November and LOVED the common area kitchen! Our room was the Champagne room, which we adored. Everthing works wonderfully and the hot tub was a super cool feature for those chilly nights. I wish there was more history about the building featured throughout! Only thing is to beware of the Hollywood room if you're booking without photos. We had no idea it was floor to ceiling mirrors! Super fun though. Much love from Texas!

Just have to say that this place is misrepresented. There's no way it's the number one bed and breakfast in New Orleans or is a five star diamond or whatever it is being promoted as. it's a dumpy old building under a highway bridge. It's okay for the money, which is pretty cheap but they cut corners a lot and only clean the room when you leave. i don't buy their "green" excuse. it's one thing not to wash the towels, another to blow off making the bed. Like i said, cutting corners. it's far from all the main sights so you spend a lot on uber. What i saved on the room i spent on uber. Never saw a person here the entire time and had to self check in with a keypad. It felt cold and run down. It's okay for a budget stay but I just had to warn you that its description and rating is very misleading.

It was a cool place to stay, and we'd definitely stay again. I think the place needs some TLC, but it was a really neat place. They outdoor shower and the balcony really sealed the deal.

Just wanted to say the hosts are amazing, will definitely be staying with them again! The location is in the middle of the action, service and rooms are great. Would highly recommend booking this location.

The wifi is not working. They send you about 4 names and passwords combos to let you try. Guess what, all bad. Signal weak and keep disconnected after 10 mins. It is impossible to do any work or even watch YouTube. Not worth at all.

The first day of our stay seemed like this is a great place. It felt funky and felt fun and interesting. The longer we stayed, the easier it was to see its shortcomings. There’s no central gathering place in the main house. There’s a room in the back that did not feel terribly clean or welcoming. The backyard space had a hot tub but the entire space was shadowed underneath a freeway. The outdoor furniture was not clean, so it was not a place you wanted to sit outside. Not all rhe burners on the barbecues worked. But our biggest problem is that we are a large group and like to cook together as a large group. There was not enough pots and pans to make a meal for a larger group.||If I was a New Orleans, overnight, this seems like a great place. However, if you have a larger group taking over the whole house, there must be other places that are more with the money.

I enjoyed my time at the mansion. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided me with information on attractions, places to eat and I also had a chef come and prepare food for us the last night of our stay. The room was clean with details that paid homage to the city and the history of the home. The hot tub was relaxing and just what we needed after site seeing. I can’t wait to come back and stay in the other 8 rooms! Great experience!

Beautiful location, the room was just what we needed! It was clean, I choose this room specifically for the tub with jets. I always do a wipe down with a Clorox wipe prior to getting in. There was nothing on the wipe! It was perfectly cleaned! The check in with the auto lock is so convenient! If you NEED no light to sleep just know there is quite of bit of light that comes through.
