My wife and I just ate Lamb Vindaloo, Shrimp Vindaloo and Naan this evening and it was really good. The service was perfect just like the food. You have to try the Mango Lassi perfect! The place is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Butter chicken was delicious, because they used a chicken thigh but with zero fat. Lamb with onion, mushroom, peppers is excellent. Garlic Naan bread was eaten in its entirety. Non-vegetarian sampler was fun to try. The lamb sausages had the best flavor and the samosa (lamb filled) had a great crunch. The samosa was the size of a fist ('was' because I ate it). This place is so good I will eat everything in front of me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Title: A Symphony of Flavors at Flavor of India - The Best Indian Food in Tucson! Review: From the moment I walked into Flavor of India, I knew I was in for a real treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, while the aroma of delicious spices immediately captivated my senses. Little did I know that I was about to experience the best Indian food in Tucson! The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, making it nearly impossible to choose. However, the helpful staff were more than willing to make recommendations based on our preferences. They suggested we try the cream spinach, lamb samosa, and lamb chops, and I am glad they did. They all turned out to be excellent choices! The cream spinach was heavenly, with its velvety texture and robust flavors complementing each other perfectly. The lamb samosa boasted a crispy, golden exterior with the most tender, flavorful lamb mince tucked inside. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, and I couldn't help but crave more. The pièce de résistance, however, was undoubtedly the lamb chops. Expertly seasoned and grilled to perfection, they were succulent and bursting with delicious juices. The accompanying sauce added another layer of depth and complexity, elevating the dish to sheer perfection. The service was impeccable throughout the meal - attentive, yet unobtrusive. Our dining experience was further enhanced when the owner stopped by our table to ensure we were satisfied with our meal. It was evident that the entire team at Flavor of India takes great pride in their food and genuinely cares about their guests. If you're looking for authentic, top-notch Indian cuisine in Tucson, look no further than Flavor of India. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more delectable dining experience in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving an explosion of flavors, superb service, and a truly memorable meal.

We stopped going here because of the decline of the buffet since covid. HOWEVER tonight we ordered food, huge portions, spicy n absolutely delicious 😋, nothing like the buffet. I got a lentil dish which we loved and my husband got shrimp korma which had a ton of shrimp. Plus it's a great value! We definitely recommend flavor of India but you must order off the menu.

I don't know what all the 5-star reviewers are smoking, but this was one of the lamest Indian lunch buffets we've ever eaten at. And we've seen some pretty bad ones. The buffet selections are extremely limited for $12.99 per person. What there was, was bland and all tasted pretty much the same. And who ever heard of an Indian buffet without dahl? Or Gulab Jamun for dessert? Of course, a cheery welcome and a hearty thank you would have helped make our visit nicer. But that didn't happen here either. Oh, yeah. A visit to the washroom revealed that cleaning practices could be, erm, better. On the one upside, our table had a view of the Santa Catalina Mountains. And the small-sized Samosas were actually pretty good.

Decided to give this place a chance since previous reviews were good. We ordered the chicken biryani to go however when we started eating it at home we noticed it tasted a little bit rubbery. We looked closer at the piece we took a bite off and it was raw. DISGUSTING! We checked all the other pieces in the dish and they were all the same. For the price we paid we expected something with more quality. Overall a disappointing experience

My Grandma was from India. I grew up eating Indian cuisine. The second I walked in I could smell I was in the right place. The lunch buffet is great!! Very good food at a decent price. Also probably the greatest chai I’ve had in the states. Wry happy I found this place.

We have only visited once. It wasn't busy in midafternoon when we had a late lunch. Maybe it was the time of the visit. But the food was just okay. The server was not very helpful with our order or any follow up after the food was presented. With the combination of food quality and service, we haven't returned since there are other comparable India cuisine places to eat.
