Had breakfast here with the family on a road trip and everyone was excited for the place. Servers were incredibly friendly and on the ball in terms of drink refills and getting our order, very kind and attentive. However, it took forty minutes to an hour to get our food, and that was only two of five plates we'd ordered.
Food was good but I don't know that it was worth the wait. It took even longer for us to get the next two plates, one of which was incorrect, and by the time we'd all finished our food the fifth member of our party was still without their food. The kitchen staff should be ashamed, especially since my server admitted to having to cook our food. Apparently one of the cooks quit during an incredibly slow breakfast.
We were assured this isn't how it typically was, but since we're out of towners the first impression was abhorrent and pathetic. If we're ever out this way again we absolutely will not be dining in again.
To our servers? Y'all rock and are the backbone of the place. You guys deserve better.
Great little brunch spot! My boyfriend got the southwestern omelette and loved it! I got biscuits and gravy and they were spot on. The real winner here is the hash browns, phenomenal!
Vast menu and good prices
I stopped by here for breakfast on my way back to Phoenix. A nice little place next to "standing on the corner" in Winslow AZ. I had the biscuits with gravy breakfast. I had bacon, over easy eggs, and hash browns. Everything was good! Next time I'll order different style eggs since my plate got really saucy at the end. Still enjoyed every bite.
The servers are very attentive and friendly and ready to get you whatever you need. I was impressed with their customer service. The food was nominal, eggs weee cooked fine, but the sausage was burned and unappetizing as well as the bacon. The hash browns were a no go, they had a funny aftertaste that was just awful.
For me, this was a one time only place to eat.
The waitress was great and very apologetic for the slow service BUT our order (5 people) came out at 4 different times. The 2 people that got their food first were done eating before the next 2 people got their food. Those people finished and the 5th person never got their food. We were here for 90 minures. I told them I wasn't paying and the owner said we still had to pay for the coffee 🙄
Girl what the eff is going on here!? We waited for an hour for food. Two of us got food and the other three had to wait. My mom never got her food, my dad’s food didn’t have the biscuit that comes with it, and my French Toast was “fine” at best. The coffee and waitress was good but this whole experience was a mess. We’re on a road trip and have places to be but we were here way longer than intended just for mom to not get fed. By the time I got my food I was freaking starving too and I was barely hungry coming in. People who came in after us got their food. Apparently one guy walked out of here, but even then like, I guess nobody knows the first thing about making an enchilada, which is a menu item????
We got there just after 11 in the morning so they were serving both breakfast and lunch. We ordered the specials: big plate of huevos rancheros and the other order was the green chili bacon burger (best eaten with a fork). Service was prompt and friendly, the place was clean and themed and the food was delicious.
We decided to try this little cafe on Sunday heading from Williams to Phoenix. So glad we did! We had the Sunday special for 9.99.
It was a huge plate of Enchiladas with eggs, potato’s, refried beans and a tortilla! I would be here more often for breakfast if I was closer!
I’m glad to see local restaurants like these. Friendly and delicious!
