Flamingo Motel - Motel in Ocala - 719 E Silver Springs Blvd, USA

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They actually had an apartment size refrigerator with a freezer in the room. Instead of having to leave the room and fill a little bucket of ice. Like most smaller mom and pop motels. The rates were affordable ($70 a night). The room I stayed in was clean and neat.

They don't provide heat when it's cold, the first room they put us in had bed bugs and roaches. If your going to stay weekly, they don't check to see if you need anything. It's Your responsibility to clean your room. Medical marijuana patient. ! Beware! I couldn't take my meds when staying there..... they threatened to call the cops on me not knowing I had a medical problem. Instead of trying to make things comfortable for me and other people around me they preferred to treatment me about calling the Cops not knowing I have a medical problem. Never again

Being kicked out because owner says my roommate has too many health issues, all I did was call the ambulance because she needed to go to the hospital n our car was broke down tried to explain but because someone else died in his motel he wasn't listening. We've been here for a month now n always pay n stay to our selves. I guess being good tenant pays for nothing nowadays.

It was the worst experience of my life.a extremely rude manager with zero people skills the speak of.and very races. Very trashy establishment. Never go to this hell hole. The rooms are smelly . I couldn't stand another night and I payed for a week. Your better off staying at the Salvation Army.

Best staff and management since the old management got aught stealing form the owners just ask Linda Fiasco at the Evergreen. The Flamingo is better than the Flamingo in management and at least the staff don't go through your room when you are not there like Linda does at the Evergreen Motel. The owners really need to know what they have over at the Evergreen cos they has done a wonderful job at the Flamingo.

I chose to give them no stars because my wife and I called 2days ahead of time and we made sure we let them know our situation and when we came to pay we paid then all of a sudden it was a problem with us having our kids there. Granted my wife and I have 5 children and there is a limit to the amount of people who is allowed in the room. Which we had no problem with because we had friends check in at the same time as us . So our family wouldn't be split up our friends agreed to keep a couple of our kids in their room and they were told that they couldn't even though they would not be over capacity. So we pay them for a week and we checked out the next day . We were charged $100 for 1 night. And our friends were charged$60

Hands down one of the worse motels around. The young managers erin and Blaine who i believe are no longer there begged me and my fiance to leave a good review so the owners won't think it's still a dump. They always a a guy on scooter over at least 8 times a day in and out yet he only stays for 5 minutes.... That is what drug dealers do. I had to take my girl to hospital cause she got bit by the bed bugs I had to bomb my room twice and told the office about it and he said well thats what u get in a motel it's not the hilton. I would use the microwave and roaches would come out of it from the bottom. I would bleach the room down daily and yet still bugs. The location is good cause ur minutes from downtown that's the only positive.

Ever since they put in new tile floors, new flat screens, regular sized refrigerators and the landscaping its been great. Ive been here for awhile now and have never seen one cockroach or anything like that the whole time ive been here. Which is usually a problem when talking about most budget motels.
