If I could give 0 stars I would. I would pay my weekly and never get change back then I’m forced to leave because”no visitors” but I only had one female for a few hours. My skin was in my shower. There were roaches one was on me when I was sleeping. Toilets never worked. No shower pressure. I was told last min at 1115 I had to leave at 1130 which is impossible and Sky asked me to clean like sweep and mop so I went passed 12 cleaning so I didn’t key my deposit back because I was trying to help with the room as asked and so she kept my $50 deposit even though I cleaned everything. Henry is great but his wife is so mean for no reason. The pic is before I swept and moped. Had I not done that I would have got out in time and got my deposit back. I got kicked out for ONE visitor for a few hours when I was never told I couldn’t have any. I pay $500 a week there and I can’t have visitors ?

I was dropping off a friend and when I saw the condition of the hotel. It appeared to be okay on the outside and from what my friend said it pretty much is the type of hotel that you get what you pay for. So that could be taken either in a good way on affordability, or could be considered a bad thing. I will probably have to stay here at least one night to give a more relative review

I haven’t stayed here but will tell you that my Nephew did and Management, specifically David was very accommodating. He was willing to work with me when I was desperately looking for a place for my Nephew while he was between jobs and housing. They were super nice and really went beyond their responsibilities to make sure I felt at ease. I would recommend this place because to me, Mgmt “David” seemed to go out of his way for his tenants.

I’m currently staying at the Flamingo. I like the owner very much!!! And I’m speaking only of her character! I’m under the impression that she doesn’t know her management is getting paid and nothing is being done. She definitely seems to be the kind to fix something that is wrong! (If she knew) I had a plan of staying here for a few months. But after my PAID week, I will be running out of this place as quickly as possible. Last week, five days out of seven, management spent disrupting me by fixing the things wrong with my room. ( things that should be done before renting the rooms out ) Now, going on eight days, I still do not have a way to shut my bathroom door. No knob. I asked for a simple handle and I’d pull it shut myself! But nothing. I still do not have a stable rod to hang my clothes on in the closet. I put “rigged” curtain rod in the window considering the walls are cement and impossible for a lady of my size to screw new nails into the wall (nor is it my job) .. The odor coming from the bathroom is so fowl that I now shower at a friends house. ( A little Draino got poured in the pipes 😊) I paid a lot of money for this special care. This motel is making a killing off of people down on their luck and need a place to go for a week or so. Knowing that the $300+ is all the tenants have. So fixing these rooms is no concern to them. “Where else will we go?” Is their thought. I’m very saddened by this motel. The conditions are survival, I will move on, but I can’t help but to feel robbed by the flamingo. I will post pics once I check out. Remember people: God sees everything.

After my last review, things went well for a while. But the owners were overly demanding of the new management and they quit. It was a husband and wife team and they really tried so hard to please both owners and tenants. But the owners are extremely demanding. And they are prime examples of 'people who cannot be pleased' They tried to make repairs the RIGHT way but the owners wanted things done by cheap 'quick fixes'. This couple worked from early morning until late into the evening. Many weeks they were not even given a full day off. The root of the problem is that the owners are interested in ONE thing and ONE thing only. $$$$$ It's a shame that this place is doomed to continue erode away little by little. It's 68 years old and not being maintained properly. If either of the owners had the right attitude and business sense then this place might survive. But this is not the case and is especially harrowing when the wife is put in charge. She can be very nice but never worked professionally in property management or in the hospitality business. (Working on a brass pole doesn't count, by the way). Now there is new 'management'. This guy is not very intelligent, in my opinion. Repairs are not addressed properly. When I mentioned that he might want to spray the yard for fleas, since my dog now has them (didn't have them before).... his response was : "that's impossible, I just sprayed your place (inside) last week".I guess he doesn't know that the outside grass areas need to be treated as well (??) His idea of fixing a hole in the ground is placing a table on top of it. When the "free" WiFi went out he said I was the only one who had an issue. I found out that my neighbors had 'hotspots' of their own, so of course I was the only one complaining ! He sat in the office with his phone and showed me that HE could get WiFi ...... well of course he gets a signal when he is only 4 feet away from the router !! My room is a good 30 feet away with 2 cement walls separating me from the router ....duh. Other residents (past and present) have reported a serious rat infestation on other parts of the property. Some units have more roaches than others, the smoke detectors do NOT work, the electrical and plumbing is not repaired or maintained by a licensed professional. And the maggots that accumulate on the constantly over-flowing dumpster are disgusting ! I feel badly for everyone who is still living there. They charge so much that most people cannot afford to move out. The are 'pet friendly' but charging an extra $20.00 per week is ridiculous since I had to spend over $150.00 to address the fleas my poor babies got infested with from this hell-hole. So if you are considering staying here ...... you have read the reviews. Reside at your own risk.

Roach & Drug infested at the time we were there in late March of 2017. My son and I had to buy blankets to put over the beds to lay on them. We paid for a week with no refund allowed at $400 and change and even so we could not deal with it for more than 2 nights. Save your money unless you are desperate and homeless. Even then a clean dry box might be better.

BEWARE STAY AT YOUR OWN PERIL! If i could I would give zero stars. Rooms were infested with cockroaches and floors were disgusting my socks were black from just walking on the carpet. When I said something about roaches they said they would spray but never came even after asking several times. The toilet didn't flush and when told management they said they know but didn't offer to fix anything and charged per roll of toilet paper. Says free wifi but the wifi didn't work not even 1mb down felt like dial up. They didn't even give you clean towels you got one towel per person but were responsible for cleaning it and on top of that the bathroom was disgusting and shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. The front door barely closed looked like it had been pried open and never fixed properly. I would never go there again and would never recommend to anyone don't stay here unless you want your belongings infested with roaches. Also heard the neighbors complaining about bed bugs before. Beware the also own Casa Linda down the road.

Very friendly people, but I went to look at a room, and my husband lift up the matress, hundreds of bed bugs running everywhere like a stelth plane. Never seen anything like it. We thamk them for showing us the room, but informed them of the bed bugs. Seem to be normal. No reaction. You can't beat the price. Ill just sleep in my van, how can someone rent you a room and know there are bedbugs? Like its no big deal. I just dont understand.
