Flamingo Inn - Motel in Rosemead - 8621 Garvey Ave, USA

Great value for the money- super low rates and friendly front desk staff. Housekeeping staff are very nice as well. I recommend the jacuzzi room- super relaxing and at a lower rate than other properties. I will definitely be back!

i give this “hotel” a one because i can’t give a zero…first of all when i walked in with FAMILY it smelled A LOT like cigarettes… it was such a disgusting smell…the most important factor to the one star is the door, it wouldn’t close. how am i supposed to feel safe? we had to close it with a pocket knife. the bathroom is the most disgusting bathroom i’ve ever been in, and ive been in a lot of gross bathroom.. the door is beat up which raises red flags. Outside the hotel was a sketchy guy looking at little girls and licking his lips. The fire alarm was missing.. p.s don’t walk barefoot in here, you might get a disease.

Management is very courteous and polite,so is his wife awesome people. Housekeeping are always on top of everything and very clean. Can’t wait to see the new rooms. Very quiet beside sirens but thats everywhere doesn’t bother me or husband greatt prices. My husband and I come her for 3 days over the weekend to get a break from other people. We love it thank you so much Flamingo stuff your all doing bf awesome

If you go GET A JUKUZI ROOM ! The staff where amazing, went out of there way to make us comfortable. The normal rooms was missing drawers and a remote kinda in the ghetto BUT the jukuzi rooms were pretty dope and big . The staff alone and the giant jukuzi made the stay amazing

Stayed here in fall of 2023 and they watch black guests as they go to their cars. The manager approached me in my car and said he needed to move me to another room because the one underneath mine had a leak coming through. The curtains and bedding were stained and I had to wash them because I asked the lady at the front desk for more bedding upon check in but she refused sheets to me. Housekeeping approached me as I was washing my sheets and asked if my room number was the exact room number I had been staying in. That’s intrusive how they memorize your room number and approach you. I heard management announce themselves outside of neighboring rooms and then enter when no one answered. That led me to believe they watch you come and go and enter your room when you are not there. I asked for a refund and the manager made it so that I didn’t get the rate for one week and I ended up paying more for individual days. They exploit minorities here by renting out unsanitary living spaces. It’s hard to recenter from everything life throws at you when you are left to deal with intrusive staff and unsanitary living conditions. The shower was cold as well.

Wished that the spa was working properly. The room was nice, pretty clean.

This “hotel” was anything short of a horror story? I slept with one eye open and a shoe in my hand to scare away the fleas and bed bugs. But it was ok because the police sirens helped me stay vigilant and awake to keep an eye on them since they wanted to get cozy with me in bed. In short giving the Flamingo Inn a half star out of 10 is being extremely generous.
