Flame Broiler - Korean restaurant in Torrance - 20016 Hawthorne Blvd Ste D, USA

This was my second time at the flame broiler. Ordered a chicken plate with no rice just extra veggies instead and it was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t really expecting much but let me say it was good on flavor and the meat felt juicy and fresh. Also the veggies. Very generous in size and the sauces are extraordinary.

Long wait. Water tastes bad! I told the guy if I can exchange it for a bottle of water and he complicated it. He then didn't hand our crew the sauces and just threw them in front of us as if we were dogs or something. We all felt disrespected but didn't make it a big deal since it was one of our birthdays. The guy who took our order had very bad attitude and was angry the whole time.

This particular location gives me a bad experience! Not friendly service, rude owner/server, no smile...short sentence when answering..."no chopsticks!" , "napkin there!"...on top of it, no eye contact, no smile, no gesture of they appreciate my business! Guess what? I am not going back there! I was pissed!

Hair inside bowl. Cheap owner showing attitude and not trying to refund the money. DO NOT COME HERE.

This place has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The owner/manager/whoever he is leads by example, and is completely devoid of any courtesy or politeness. And if/when they do manage to employ someone else to work at the register, they're equally unpleasant, so it must be part of the interview process. If you want to skip carrots, be ready to be charged for extra broccoli. Don't want extra broccoli? Just want to... skip carrots? Too bad, fee for extra broccoli. Want some extra sauce? Sorry, hard limit on amount of tiny sauce cups. They charge $13 for some rice and tofu, but apparently can't swing the cost of throwing in an extra 1 oz of fake sriracha. It always stings me to give this place business, and I think I'm done. But if you ever want to get food from a spot that makes DMV employees seem charismatic by comparison, all to the obnoxious sounds of Christian rock music playing too loud in the background, this is the Flame Broiler for you!

Healthy alternative to the neighboring fast food joints. Plus they play great Christian music!!

I'm in shock at the audacity of this business. I ran in for lunch, 2 guys in the back - obviously busy - no other staff, no big deal. I'm standing at the front counter, one guy walks out from the back with to go orders and starts yelling peoples name and looks at me and yells MOVE..... Alrighty, I step back and don't say anything - I was just standing at the register to order.... Then he looks at the guy behind me and tries to take his order to which he responds that I'm next. UNBELIEVABLE. He starts barking at me and at this point I just don't trust eating here. HORRIBLE guy here. There was no reason AT ALL for his attitude. READ THE YELP REVIEWS - they all say the same thing! Go to El Pollo Loco - same parking lot at the very end....

I usually come to this place at least once a week since it is so close to my job. The food is good but the customer service definitely needs improvement. The other day I walked in and I was literally standing at the register ready to order for like 5 minutes. No one acknowledged me no one said anything. So I ended up walking out with no food 🙁
