Great location and easy to find. It’s close to a lot of restaurants. There’s a small convenient store where you check in. The bathroom and showers are clean. The water pressure isn’t that great but since it’s winter I care more about there being hot water, which there was. The laundry takes card and it’s well taken care of. There were some machines out of order but with off season it didn’t bother us. They do allow you to use the dump station if you are not staying at the park for $20.
Enjoyed our stay here. We were there during the slow season, which was nice as there were not a lot of campers around. We could see the appeal as it is very family friendly and a great location for Flagstaff. There were lots of trees, which drowned out a lot of the traffic the busy road nearby. The bathrooms were clean and didn’t require a code. We would stay there again when in Flagstaff.
This KOA campground is very pretty and has lots of tall trees. It is camping in the forest with all the luxury RV hookups. If you have a satellite dish on your RV it most likely will not connect here. However, their wi-fi is excellent and we have had great luck with streaming. The campground is very clean and well maintained. It has excellent power and big rig friendly. We oftentimes pulled right into our site with tow vehicle still attached and we are approximately 60+ feet long. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The playground is well maintained and has two off leash dog parks. There are miles of trails accessible from this campground and only a few miles from Buffalo Park and many other beautiful hiking and biking trails.
Beautiful campground! The spaces (not rooms) were super nice. We had plenty of power, water, and WiFi signal. The space had a patio area on pavers that included a fire pit, grille, and seating with tables. Even better than the campground was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
According to the staff, I was not permitted to charge my EV which is contradictory to recent folks who have posted on PlugShare who said staff allowed them to charge. If you have a Tesla it’s whatever, cuz the supercharger is right across the street so I charged there in the morning. The power was inconsistent and shut off at 3am (power was still on at the park and the breaker wasn’t tripped) woke up cuz my heated blanket wasn’t heating and verified my other tech wasn’t being powered. Shower stalls are small and for the women’s restroom, if you’re taller than 5’4 you have to duck to wash your hair.
Perfect location in Flagstaff. Right by the road but on a junction so not too much noise. Theres a garage across the road which does food, useful if arriving late. Just stayed one night. Another site with trees left growing within pitches. It makes positioning your equipment really difficult. There are enough trees around, taking a few out to make access easier wouldn't make a massive difference. Restrooms are OK, ladies ran out of toilet roll early morning (I always have my own). There were rolls of kitchen paper to dry your hands with, which also ran out. There a playground & dog walking area. Large shop inside reception. Despite all the trees there is no privacy between pitches. Not level as it's at the base of a mountain.
Nice quiet location. Neighbors can sometimes be noisy, but let's be honest that is just how it is when camping. Cabins are long in the tooth but the RV pull through spaces are nice (we've stayed in both). We always enjoy our stay.
A lot of deferred maintenance: cigarette butts littered our site; the electrical box had been damaged and the cover was on the ground. 50% of the washers and dryers were out of service. The roads to the sites are almost too narrow for large RVs, fifth wheels, and trailers. The trees alongside the roads make it especially difficult. Once situated, the walking trails are very pleasant for people and their dogs.

Did a camping here in June 2023. Campsite is clean, with sufficient space to peg your tent and park your car. The trail at the backside is also nice, takes you to the hill, giving nice views of the lake. The night sky is amazing. We clicked many beau
I won a bet with my buddy about who had the best burrito in town. I made him eat an El Mayor from Tres Amigos. He looked me dead in the eyes and said: "you win".
